“Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. “We were comfortable in our room but we found it unusual that the cleaning staff weren’t cleaning rooms until very late in the day. So the first day we said just leave our room for today but we do require a few things (TP and coffee). Other than that our room was never refreshed at all. “We were given a room at the rear of the hotel which was in a converted annex. This was nicely decorated with basic amenities although we did have a shower and a bath. The accommodation was on 2 floors, with the bathroom on the ground floor and the bedroom on the first floor. This was not very convenient for us when using the bathroom during the night, especially as the stairs were steep and creaked, waking us both each time. “I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. ”

“Escogí a este hotel por el diseño y la cercanía a York. Se tarde 30 minutos en tren desde Harrogate (1 hora en coche !). El hotel es una joya, elegante, muy limpio, con baños muy modernos y unos desayunos espectaculares. Esta muy cuidado y se muestra el buen gusto de los dueños. En cuanto a Harrogate, es menos conocido pero merece la pena la visita, especialmente por los parques, tiendas, los baños turcos y Betty's Tearoom, donde se puede disfrutar del mejor afternoon tea!”

Room was very clean but very noisy could here people in next room even their conversation and our room was at the front so constant traffic noise , lots of lorry’s going by. The double bed in our room (4) was very uncomfortable could feel the springs so not much sleep. Breakfast was interesting bought to your room in a basket ! ”
