The house was comfortable and the large table on the large back porch was perfect for a family gathering. The location in South Tampa was great except that the house was on a busy street with street noise from the traffic. There was a problem with check in that caused a delay but it was handled within about 20 minutes. The host even came by to make sure we were able to open the lock on the front door. The host was very friendly and accommodating.

I encourage any future guests to ask if the musty smell, dirty air filters, plumbing issues, misplaced tiles in bathroom and broken garbage disposal have been addressed before renting. Otherwise, well decorated and clean home, convenient to popular Tampa attractions.

Elegantly adorable

This cute little bungalo is exactly as described, if not better. The decor is precious and it is warm and inviting. Complete with dog toys and the comfyist of accommodations. The bikes were so perfect to cruise this beautiful historic neighborhood and take a ride to the bay. Our kids were able to ride to get ice cream right down the street. We enjoyed the farmers market just a couple blocks away, full of local produce. We loved dinner at Bocellis italian restaurant less than 5 minutes away--absolutely delicious! We also loved the Columbia Cafe, truly authentic cuban cuisine and impeccable service about 10 minutes into downtown Tampa. If we are ever in this area, we will certainly stay here again!

Not eco friendly, do not recommend

We did NOT have a good experience at this bungalow. We also have short term rentals on VRBO and know how/what all is involved. The mold and mildew smell in the house is awful! The exterior of the house is filthy. Some windows are so dirty you cannot even see outside, the sills are covered in mildew and dirt. The owners control the HVAC temperature and we were MISERABLE. It was an 80 degree day, no ceiling fan in the primary bedroom, owners control thermostat and do not allow below 72! No light in the refrigerator the bulb is gone, No light bulb in the living room lamp, 21 of light bulbs not functioning in the string of lights outside.They advertise a real coffee maker but they have a keurig that makes one cup at a time. Plastic drinkware (with lipstick stains) plastic cooking tools/utensils, ruined/old non stick cookware that should never be used.To advertise this home as “green or environmental” is essentially false advertising. The hand and dish soap in the “reusable glass dispensers” were literally all watered down and had zero soap in them. This house looked abandoned due to lack of maintenance when we arrived. We purchased our own sheets, coffee maker & cookware. The final straw came at 4 am on day 8 when we were bolted awake by a loud screech from the fridge that never stopped until we pulled the breaker. We packed our bags and called it quits. We left 6 days early. Owner asked for feedback and she never responded.

Out four day visit to Tampa Bay Area was made even better by renting this delightful charming little bungalow, which fairly begs you to share your comfort & joy with others. Lots of area s for eating, drinking, conversing. MRvelous decor $ touches - like the mRblius tromp d’oeil of the many artificial plants which defied your detection. Please few shortcomings

Charming and completed renovated home in the heart of South Tampa!

My husband and I lived in Hyde Park for many years and recently retired to the Blue Ridge Mountains. We were looking for that South Tampa Bungalow charm to rent and this home did not disappoint. From the vintage and eclectic various furnishings and cozy rooms to the wonderful private screened porch and backyard, the hosts thought of it all. We also love that the hosts are passionate about the environment and use sustainable products wherever possible. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and we look forward to booking again in the very near future.

Good location, charming bungalow, and cozy home

Family enjoyed the stay at this charming and cozy bungalow located at a central location with easy access to various places nearby. We enjoyed the details that went into renovating the home while maintaining the original look of it. Great bungalow, some minor issues

This property was great, exactly what the review listed, was very well decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. There was a very weird smell when we entered the property, and the heat was on, or at least it was not cool in the house, extremely humid. There was hairs within the corners of the bathroom, and the property was not dusted down. Looks like they spot clean for the most part, if that. The host was great and easy to get ahold of.

Beautiful and convenient

Great spot close to downtown, the bay, stores and restaurants. Great place to come back to and relax with friends and family! Great home and yard for hosting away from home! Such a fun getaway!

Great house in lovely Tampa neighborhood

This was a perfect rental. Beautiful inside and an amazing porch and backyard. Made for nice relaxing evening with the family. Also nearby fun areas like Hyde Park and Channelside. Neighborhood was nice and quiet as well. Hope to visit again.
