We booked this house for a weekend specifically because of the amount of bedrooms and that it listed a travel crib (necessary as we were traveling with two small kids). I even messaged the host BEFORE we arrived to verify that there was a travel crib in the house, the host responded that there was one present. When we arrived we looked in every closet, bedroom, cabinet, and could not find said travel crib. I messaged him on the app to no answer but he had said we could call or text if he didn’t hear from him. After texting him he did call and told us that the travel crib must have been stolen and he would pick one up and drop it off in a couple hours. At this time it was 7pm and we were at Walmart and offered to pick one up, he agreed and said he would reimburse us just save the receipt. We purchased, sent him the receipt (got the cheapest one available of the two options in store). He then completely ghosted us for the rest of the weekend. We left the brand new travel crib at the house but if we would’ve known we were going to be out 70 for the crib we were would already be present in the house, I would’ve flown home with it. The other issue was the house was not clean when we arrived. The floors were very clearly dirty and had not been mopped or swept. We actually went through and cleaned and swept because our feet were black after walking on the floors for 15 minutes. There was trash and debris under the nightstands in the room (so clearly not cleaned).
