Great Trip!
Came down for a quick 3 day visit. The house was as advertised and we found it cleaner than most places we've stayed. The kitchen was well equipped and we found the house to be quite comfortable. The neighborhood is a mixed bag. We felt safe walking down the street but definitely kept the house and car locked at all times. We found the beds to be adequate. Our dog enjoyed her stay, the fenced in backyard was like a jungle for her. We did find poop that wasn't hers, but i think even the best pet owners can miss some especially in a jungle. Two complaints: 1. There is not much water pressure in the shower 2. The monopoly game didn't have enough houses, we had to improvise. Would stay again, it was perfect for our needs.

Zen Oasis
This house was perfect for our stay in Tampa, close to Busch Gardens and the Aquarium. House is well stocked with everything you need, had great areas to hang outside with family while relaxing and was close to several stores. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

Tampa Getaway
Our stay was great and we really enjoyed the experience in Tampa. The house was in great shape and looked wonderful. The only issue we had was the hot water takes awhile to heat up in the shower and sink, and the water pressure in the shower was very low. Other than that tiny issue, the house was great. If anyone is looking for a place to stay, that has easy access to Tampa, I would highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The neighborhood was lovely with a wonderful restaurant steps away; the backyard was a beautiful place to hangout with lots of privacy and the house was very spacious and clean. We would definitely return to this property if we travel to this area again in the future. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house
I really enjoyed staying at this historical home. It’s a cute craftsman with charm . The decorations and details in the house were great as well as a beautiful backyard. A few streets over on Florida street are a ton of great restaurants.

Great stay!
The property actually was better than I anticipated. The neighborhood was quite and the accommodations very pleasing. The outside courtyard was a tropical oasis and was great for morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. The kitchen was well stocks with all cooking pot, pans and utensils. The beds comfortable and bathroom large. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this VRBO!

The good and the bad...but it’s a detailed review!
I was born and raised in Tampa and know the area well. We rented this house for a week. The house is located in Seminole Heights which is an area that used to have heavy crime but the last decade it’s been a revamped area that has some very eclectic old homes that have been redone. We did not have the address of the property until we checked in and when I got the email of the street name I had a mild heart attack as the street used to be one of the highest crime streets in all of Tampa. Once we got to the house my nerves calmed as the area has been redone and I have to say I actually felt safe staying there. I wouldn’t go for a walk per say or let my kids play outside but I wasn’t sleeping at night thinking something bad was going to happen. I felt like the house was very charming and my husband would describe it as old and rickety. There are many things on the house that seriously need to be redone. The kitchen cabinets are dilapidated and the plantation shutters are falling apart so bad that you can’t open or close many of them without some serious “hold it so it doesn’t fall apart” moves. The house was insanely clean. Like lick off the floors clean. I specifically let the host know before checking in that we were very picky about cleanliness so not sure if it’s like that for every stay but it was perfection in that category. The main couch is insanely uncomfortable as there is a wooden bar or something in the middle so it’s not something to chill out on. The beds were very comfortable but the sheets felt very worn and there were some stains in a few spots. My 5 year old wanted us to lay a blanket over her sheet because she didn’t like the black mark. The sheets were clean, it was just some stains. The towels were also worn. The house is advertised as fully stocked but it’s not. I had to get upset with the host and beg her to give us more than a few trash bags, paper towels, detergent and toilet paper. We were there for 7 days and they didn’t give us nearly enough. We got into a fight about it, it was that hard to get the basic items needed for a week. The tub didn’t have a stopper so we couldn’t bathe our toddlers after traveling all day but the next day they brought one. There are cats everywhere on that street, so bad that my husband could not breathe from the cat dander. It comes in through the vents. The yard is nice but covered in leaves. The host was very responsive. The house is charming but we wouldn’t rent it again.
