“We are so happy with the place. Kids love sleeping in the bunk beds. We got everything we need in the kitchen. There were lots of movies to watch in the TV. The house was warm when you started heating up the fireplace. The host was very helpful and even allowed us to check in early and check out late due to some delayed situations. “The accommodation was as advertised. No unpleasant surprises. Wood fire kept the house cozy. We were there late autumn, it would have been a great addition to have a wall heater in the bathroom which was outside on the back porch. Otherwise I would recommend a stay for those who can tolerant Taranaki temperatures. The easy close walk to the Whangamomona Hotel was the icing on the cake.”
