“Alles war einfach perfekt: sehr sauber, hervorragend gepflegt und mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht, die den steilen Aufstieg mehr als wettmacht. Das Personal war ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Bei unserer früheren Abreise wurde uns sogar ein liebevoll vorbereitetes Lunchpaket inklusive angeboten – ein toller Service! Wir waren zu viert unterwegs, inklusive meiner Schwiegereltern, die den kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellten Tuk-Tuk-Service für den Auf- und Abtransport genutzt haben....

“Nice facility, our room was fairly unique with some fake rock. Our daughter's room had a cool outdoor bathtub. You get great use of two other Thambapanni resorts in the area. Rooms are large and interesting. Very musty. The air conditioner needed to be maintained to keep mildew out. Clothes drying rack, nice bathroom and good breakfast. Super accommodating staff. Unawatuna is a bit of a Russian tourist trap. Aggressive tuktuk drivers and merchants. Jungle Beach nice but crowded. The Sea Waves...

“Everything was great! The only thing I didn't love was the internet connection. It looks like they use 4G cellular modems with data limits instead of a cable or fiber network. I occasionally had to hold Teams meetings for work, and the connection would drop and never get back. However, this seems to be a common issue across Sri Lanka, not just at this hotel. Aside from that, everything else was absolutely perfect, especially the staff and the location!”

“Terrible hotel experience. Room was dirty on arrival. Asked for it to be cleaned again but was still dirty. Trash in the shower, dirty bed sheets and towels, hair in the toilet/sink/floor. Moved to a new room which was much cleaner. Lots of mosquitoes. Annoyingly few plug sockets. There was a dog barking outside all night and no sound proofing. I didn’t sleep a wink. The owner was incredibly rude and dismissive. Communication both during and before the stay incredibly difficult. Common areas and...

“Nice stay, the luxury chalet is so lovely. The staff were nice enough, breakfast was fine. There are a lot of ants however in the rooms. It also would’ve been nice to know prior to our stay that there was construction going on to build a lift. The stairs are certainly not for the faint hearted. The pool area was nice but other than that the hotel amenities are limited. ”
