“We stayed for a week over Christmas. The room was clean, comfy and fairly modern. The staff were amazing; helpful and respectful every time we spoke to them. The breakfast was good; selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit and pastries for a light breakfast. Sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans if you wanted something hot. Overall, excellent value for money!”

“We stayed in the Linwood Suite for 1 night. The room was spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high quality. The room is immediately above the function area and noise travels easily (there was a wedding reception) - we weren't warned about this previously but it was not a problem as we went out to dinner and the noise quietened down before midnight. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by loud noise in the room. It was a mechanical noise which sounded like a generator...

“The room was lovely and clean and comfortable, we arrived and got a parking spot next to the hotel. Communication is excellent. Lighting on arrival so we could put the code into the building was fantastic. We were in the first room. It was modern with a lovely big bed, with a walk-in shower which is ideal for me as I struggle with mobility. “My daughter and I had such a lovely time at the hotel and spa, Rudolph greeted us with his lovely smile and willingness to help during our stay at the hotel,the food at Wilfreds was amazing and every member of staff were polite and attentive,we also had a day at the spa,wow!what an experience,it exceeded our expectations,the lovely Lorna looked after us ,the whole experience from the massage the facilities the food , cleanliness and especially the staff was amazing .”

“Moved from the bull to the shepherds rest as an upgrade prior to arrival. Out of 4 rooms (party of 4), rooms 10 and room 4 no heating. The bull may have better but I’d avoid the shepherds rest. Also none of the TVs worked in any of the 4 rooms and Wi-Fi password not shared. A shame as the rooms were fine even if the showers are a little small. Place was clean and obviously has been invested in. ”

“Lovely little cottage, had everything we needed for our few days and was very clean. A lovely welcome package was waiting for us and it's a great location for seeing Haworth and the Brontë parsonage. Parking at the old hall was perfect as it was a short walk to the cottage. Though quite a few steps which might be difficult for older people. ”
