“Wonderful stay in this quaint thatched Inn. Modernised rooms and wonderful ensuite with large bath and shower over, due to the property being burnt down early in the 2000s. Traditional wooden beamed bar and restaurant with exceptionally conscientious staff. Full English breakfast using locally sourced produce and a thoroughly enjoyable stay for the two of us ”

“This was definitely the best accomodation we had during our two week trip of the UK. Fiona and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The historic house is cozy, as is the guest lounge and breakfast room. The lounge is equipped with a quality stereo system, a record player and a large and truly excellent selection of LPs. You can select your breakfest and your music of choice in the evening. “Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep.
