Also looked lovely from the outside with hanging baskets and tubs of flowers, those and garden areas were well maintained.”

“Great communication as a self check in with a lock box, plenty of private parking next to the accommodation. Carlton Towers has a tea room within walking distance which was convenient. Room was big with everything we needed for 2 nights. Would recommend and stay again if back in the area.”

“Hidden paradise”

“This hotel was in a good central location, spotless, smart and functional. The door code provided worked well. I had an accessible room due to mobility issues which had an excellent shower room. the grab and go breakfast had a good variety of food. Unfortunately this area only had a bar stool arrangement so I physically couldn't sit as the table and seats were too high for anyone with a disability. no staff were available for any help. only a phone for emergency.”

“Excellent stay at the Briarcroft Hotel. We needed a place near the wedding venue we attended and this was right on the doorstep. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were very attentive when needed. The continental breakfast was very nice, orange juice, cereal, toast. Parking right outside the hotel. Everything we needed was right there including local shops, bars and restaurants. We will definitely use this place again”

“El mejor servicio. Los dueños son súper súper amables y te dan el mejor desayuno que nos comimos en todo el viaje. La guesthouse es pequeña, los cuartos sencillos y no tiene elevador. Te queda caminando del centro de York. Todo está muy limpio y el servicio es extraordinario. ”
