“Muy agradable y un desayuno excelente al igual que la atención del personal”

“Beautiful accommodation. Friendly staff. Great price including a wonderful breakfast.”

“Was a beautiful stay, the room was really clean, the property well maintained. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again or advise anyone to stay ☺️ thankyou!”

“Cute hotel, good location, modern, and nice to have the tavern attached for a drink and breakfast, but the double room was very small and with no closet, drawers or anywhere to put suitcases we had little floor space left. Too cramped for a couple but probably great for one person. Also it's loud if you have a room facing the square. I would stay again, but in a larger room at the back of the hotel.”

“We only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night and it was very nice. Lovely room with a Comfortable bed, great shower and towels. Plenty if tea and coffee, and if you ran out you could get more from a dish on the landing also a sweet treat if you needed it, which I thought was a nice touch. It was a bit away from restaurants and the main shopping but public buses stopped just down the road and was easy to catch and came regularly if you didn’t have a car. “Excellent stay at the Briarcroft Hotel. We needed a place near the wedding venue we attended and this was right on the doorstep. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were very attentive when needed. The continental breakfast was very nice, orange juice, cereal, toast. Parking right outside the hotel. Everything we needed was right there including local shops, bars and restaurants. We will definitely use this place again”

“Good property just that the last night our room was not clean.”

“Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...

“Sitio maravillo por el entorno y y el personal del hotel. Muy cerca de York por si se quiere ir de compras o a una visita cultural. ”

“Por encima de todo, la amabilidad de Danielle y Tarquin. El desayuno, de lo mejor. Muy bien situado, no más de 15 min. caminando al centro de York. Fácil aparcamiento. Muy recomendable.”

“Clean room and free parking”

“Excelente room”

“The hotel had a 'run down' feeling and we were disappointed that there was no breakfast on offer.”

“Love this hotel. Love the staff, great place.”

“El mejor servicio. Los dueños son súper súper amables y te dan el mejor desayuno que nos comimos en todo el viaje. La guesthouse es pequeña, los cuartos sencillos y no tiene elevador. Te queda caminando del centro de York. Todo está muy limpio y el servicio es extraordinario. ”
