Great Space with Some Inconveniences
We recently stayed at this rental and had a mixed experience. Here are some highlights and lowlights:
Pros:
-The kitchen was well-appointed with plenty of pots, pans, and dishes, making it easy to cook for our group.
-The views from the main living area and deck are spectacular!
-The large dining table was perfect for meals together and accommodating a crowd.
-We appreciated the comfortable beds throughout the house—everyone had a great night's sleep!
Cons:
Unfortunately, we encountered some inconveniences.
-There were no dishwashing supplies or counter spray which made cleanup a bit of a hassle. We ran to the store to stock up on soap, trash bags, toilet paper, paper twls, etc.
- The recycling instructions were confusing
- Figuring out the heat was quite tricky, especially in the lower level where we couldn't get it to work at all.
- The fireplace came with very specific instructions but not enough firewood, which was disappointing on a chilly night.
- We found it frustrating that we had to drive offsite just to pick up and drop off the house keys.
It would be extremely helpful to have a house binder with instructions on how to use the TVs, heat, and other appliances. This could save future guests a lot of time and confusion.
Overall, while there were some great features to the rental, the lack of basic supplies and unclear instructions detracted from our experience. If these issues were addressed, it could be a fantastic place to stay!
