  • "Casa McElroy" is a stunning villa with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. This charming property is situated in the quiet Candelaria area within the town of Tias. It is spacious and furnished to a high standard. Ideal for bringing the family and friends together, this property can accommodate up to 6 guests. Enjoy the living area, dining area, fully-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Additional amenities include A/C, WiFi, satellite TV, DVD player and standing fans.

    The outside area of this villa is set up with ultimate relaxation in mind. Sunbathe on the sun loungers and enjoy the private heated saltwater pool (heated to 28 degrees all year round for no extra cost). With a dining area, spend long summer evenings outside and cook

    homemade meals on the traditional Canarian BBQ as the sun disappears behind the mountains. The upper terrace is ideal for a lazy breakfast or to relax and take in the sea views. Make use of the fresh lemons available from the orchard.

    The nearest beach of Playa de Los Pocillos is a 10-minute drive away (9 km).

    The nearest cafes, restaurants and bars are a 1-8 minute drive from the villa (100m - 6 km).

    The nearest supermarket is a 3-minute drive (1.8 km).

    Lanzarote Airport is just 6-minutes by car (6 km).



    WiFi is suitable for video calls. Pets are not allowed at this property. There are surveillance cameras connected to the alarm at the villa.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Sehr, sehr schön. Diese Ferienwohnung war für uns traumhaft schön, alles da was man für erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit tollem Pool und sehr freundlichen Eigentümern.

Pros: This is an excellent villa, spotlessly clean, panoramic views, warm swimming pool, all you would need to have a great holiday. We (four of us) stayed over Christmas and it was wonderful, The little town of Tias was a delight. The owners, Norman and Hilary leave nothing to chance when it comes to preparing the villa for your stay. Hope to return.

Fabulous villa in quiet location.

Pros: The villa was spacious and super clean in a great location to explore the Island. A short drive to and from the airport but tucked away in a charming area with views across to the sea. Our host kindly left a welcome hamper with essentials which was great. We enjoyed the villa and pool and exploring the gardens lovely cacti. We would definitely visit again in the future as we left after a week with plenty more places still to visit another time. A good reason to return.

Perfect Villa in a perfect location

Pros: This was our 4th villa holiday in Lanzarote and was by far the best! the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the owners was second to none. The facilities were superb especially the pool which is ideal for kids, the cleanliness and comfort were excellent. The central location is ideal to travel to the many attractions on the island and only a short drive to the airport. We were left a lovely welcome pack which was nice and I thought was a thing of the past. We can highly recommend this villa and the excellent service provided by Norman and his team. Thank You. Norman, we will return.

Pros: Für uns war es ein Experiment da wir für vier Wochen Urlaub an einem Ort gebucht hatten. Das Experiment ist geglückt, dank der wundervollen Casa MC Elroy. Hier stimmt einfach alles, Lage Ausstattung und die Betreuung vor, während und sogar nach der Abreise durch den Besitzer Norman und die vor Ort Betreuung durch Hilary. Schon die Anreise und der Zutritt zur Villa war durch die hervorragende Beschreibung durch Norman und der hinterlegte Begrüsungsmappe mit dem vorgefunden Begrüsungspaket eine willkommene Überraschung. Kleinere Unzulänglichkeiten die wir verursacht haben wurden ohne großes Aufhebens behoben. In einem Satz zusammengefasst, Hervorragend!!

Pros: An incredible property with the most amazing views we have ever seen. The property is like a maze and every corner and curve defines the design of the building which as been well thought of for individual space and needs. The owners Norman and Hillary clearly pride themselves in the maintenance of the property. Due to reasons that one could list, we got delayed and walking in to the property with the alarm turned off and the porch light on was a welcoming to the start to our holiday. The owners have ensured there is a managing agent on site for any reason. The pleasure of meeting Lynne who managed the property was a bonus to our stay, not only did Lynne work around our needs but the simple things that matter, such as the alarm turned off and light put on, one could not ask for a more home to home stay with the lovely views and the weather. If you want the peace and quite with everything one needs, this is the place to be.

Lovely villa, lovely stay

Lovely villa and fantastic views. The villa was clean and very well equipped and had great amenities. It was under 10 minutes to the airport and was in a great central location to visit north or south of the island within an hour. The heated pool to 28C was a great asset, there was good wifi and pool towels were provided. The village of Tias 5 minutes drive away had some great tapas restaurants and a hyperdino supermarket. Other bigger supermarkets such as Lidl and Mercadona could be reached within 10 minutes. The start of the vineyard area was also reached within 10 minutes and we had some great wine tastings. The owner Norman is very attentive and the local manager Hilary was very prompt in responding and helpful on the one occasion when we needed her advice. The TV had British channels and prime TV. There was also a variety of books and board games. Our bedding and towels were changed midway through our stay. There was also a nice and appreciated welcome pack. Thank you! and Thanks for a restful holiday. We had a lovely time despite the suboptimal weather for beginning of March....puffer jackets and jeans ...coldest and windiest March the locals could remember until our second last day...and then it was lovely and warm. We would definitely recommend Casa McElroy and would request to stay again the next time we are in Lanzarote.

Pros: Luxurious villa situated in a peaceful setting with spectacular ocean views.Spacious accommodation, clean and well maintained has been tastefully decorated. Short drive from the airport was a bonus. With consideration to modern living, excellent internet access allows ease of contact with friends and family. Panoramic views from indoors gives a feeling of al fresco even when indoors. The outdoor space is extensive with a variety of areas to suit your mood whether that be reading a book in a shady corner, doing yoga or excercise on the extensive terrrace, or dozing in the pergola after some water aerobics, in the very inviting heated pool or simply soaking up the rays poolside. Despite the peaceful location, the local supermarket is convenient well stocked. The barbeque area is ideal for those nights you just cant drag youself away from the poolside. The beautiful beach at Playa Honda/Guacimeta is about 10mins away by car, with a great promenade for a stroll, running, skating or cycling. This area is busy both by day and by night with a nice variety of coffee shops bars and restaurants. Among our favourites was Marilyns for a coffee and in the evening Casa Terre for tapas and La Barca for french cuisine . For those who just have to shop Arrecife is a picturesque city, set on the waterside also with a lovely beach. We enjoyed a trip to the Arrecife Gran Hotel where the glass elevator takes you to the coffee shop with panoramic views across the city, beach &sea. The new Marina in Arrecife has some nice shops and restaurants. Arrecife itself has some interesting shops and streets to explore. However the laid back atmosphere around the Charco, whether it be morning coffee, lunch or a late evening dinner is 'chillax' to a tee! Excellent customer service. Will definitely be recommending this to family and friends.

Notre séjour de 7 jours à la villa McElroy a été excellent. Villa magnifique, très bien équipée, panier d’accueil très complet fourni à notre arrivée,  contact avec le propriétaire et la responsable de la villa sur place très fluide et réponses aux questions très rapides. La piscine a été idéale après des journées de visite de cette île si attachante. Nous recommandons totalement cette villa située dans les hauteurs résidentielles de Tias, très bien située et avec une vue exceptionnelle sur l’océan.Un grand merci à Norman et Hillary !!!
