The house was lovely and great for our needs. The kitchen was a bit understocked though, not enough knives and no salt to use for recipes. Additionally, the stove range top broke our final morning there.

A cozy spot with some excellent views

We had a fantastic time here. My wife and I brought along some friends to enjoy the Oregon coast and this place was ideal. Nothing beats a cozy living room with a fantastic view!

Fabulous Weekend

House was perfect for a group weekend with friends. Place was large enough for all of us, clean, and was perfectly comfortable. Definitely keeping this one in our back pocket for future stays.

Not as good as expected

The kitchen and hallway floors were sticky. Almost every wall in the home was dirty. There were dents in some walls. The bunk bed room upstairs had a large drawing under the window. All carpets in the home need a good cleaning. The home was cold. The furnace couldn’t get the temperature above 65°. The manager did bring one space heater that did help a bit. The utensils and cookware in the kitchen need to be replaced. The view is great. Also there is a nice 2 car garage that we were able to park in. The beds were comfortable. There was also an adequate supply of clean linens.

Very clean but could use some TLC

I’d first like to say that the location and view are beautiful regardless of what season you visit. The communication with the property group was timely, helpful and reliable. Upon arrival the house was very clean and organized. The supplies for the home were very accommodating and appreciated. The pictures on the site were accurate but just not up to date. My family and I are not boujee by any means and the newest of new are not needed. My constructive criticism for the property is that it just needs some TLC. Due to the wonderful abundance of windows to enjoy the awesome view, the furniture is definitely fading. This is isn’t a deal breaker by any means but on one of the chairs there are huge rips on the arms that are not pleasant to see. The carpet has significant stains throughout the property that truly need replacing. The corners of many of the walls need spackle and painting. These small things show somewhat lack of care for the property. By performing these minor repairs, the home could truly shine for what the gem it is. One more thing for consideration is perhaps a larger tv in the main area. After dark there is little nightlife in the area so a larger screen than the 20” provided for a great family movie night would really be a feature. That said, I would stay again. Kind regards

Family gathering

The house is beautifully situated on a quiet street overlooking the ocean. The view is stunning and the house is well-equipped and comfortable. We stayed at this property 6 years ago when the property was immaculate. This time, the house was clean, but it is showing signs of wear and tear. Regardless of that, we felt safe and enjoyed our stay. The beds and furniture are comfortable and there is adequate space for a group of 6 adults and 2 kids.

Beautiful Home!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful, with incredible views from every room. Short walking distance to a cliff-side view point for beautiful sunsets. The kids room had lots of toys and amenities. Home was fairly clean, but it needs some TLC and maintenance. The main dissatisfaction was the windows (they were extremely cloudy from broken seals) and inhibited so much of the view from inside the house. However, there was very good communication with the management team about it. They were actually very quick about replacing them - replacement windows were delivered before we had even checked out. We come to Oceanside every summer and this was definitely one of the best stays! We would definitely come and stay again!

Beautiful views

Views are absolutely beautiful 😍 home is nice and spacious, plenty of room! Toys and games for kids. Has a grill and pots and pans( need to be upgraded but we made do with what they had) we really enjoyed our trip and if we are back in area would definitely stay away!!

Beautiful Views, Comfortable Place

Huge porch with beautiful views of the ocean. It was 10-15 minutes down a steep incline to hike to the beach. All necessary amenities there. Comfortable beds. Everyone was happy.

Oregon coast visit

The location and space of the house was great. It was nice to have towels, soap, garbage bags, etc. already on site. We did have cleanliness issues with the home-there were ants in the bathrooms and we had a mouse run across the living room floor while we were there :(

had a fairly good time, but... issues...

The photos make the place look alot nicer than it is. Most everything is tired out and needs painting or replacing. In particular order: found foul/disgusting unwashed dishes with rotting food in one of the cupboards. Found more dishes stacked inside the front entry bench, near the end of our stay. Level the dishwasher, for pete-sakes: the racks roll out on their own it's so bad. house requests no shoes inside, but it isn't mentioned in the listing. garage door opener opens the door randomly whenever. It was a known problem prior to arrival and no advanced warning was given for it opening in the middle of the night. the stovetop does work, but... the replaced knobs are not 'clocked' properly, so using it is confusing because the knob pointers are in the wrong spot. warning: the master bedroom has no useable closet it's not mentioned in the listing, but a washer & dryer are present. A minimum amount of soap for the W&D and dishwasher was made available, but ran out quickly. Lots of burned out light bulbs. Had to swap a few just to get light over/near key areas. The view is wonderful, but many of the windows have lost their weathertight seal making for hazy windows, and the rest need to be cleaned. lots of cobwebs needing attention. couch has a 'burnt rubber' odor the beds were reasonably comfortable and the bedding & towels were also of decent quality.

Left Early

We left the property early due to concerns for our safety. This is a remote locations with a beautiful view. BUT, the automatic garage door either has a short in it or someone has the remote. The garage door went up during the night on our first eve. It then stayed closed all day but on our second night it want our again at 12:55am. We didn’t fill safe with a door that was going up on its own, but yet on.y during the middle of the night. This property is located at the end of a dead end road on a fairly remote area. Because this is a managed property there is no owner available to contact about the issue to see if the remote was suppose to be on the property and someone had taken, it etc. We have requested a refund for one night but have not heard one thing from the property manager or the owner. The code sent to us for check in did not work and it took three phone calls to the property manager to get one to open the door. Also, I’ve seen nicer furniture in my sons frat house! Furniture is very stained and stinks of dog pee. The carbon monoxide detector is unplugged and in a kitchen drawer, many outdoor lights, including the garage door light were burned out or missing. But the view is beautiful.

Great Location that is Poorly Maintained

Beautiful setting and location. However, the inside of the house was dirty. Sheets had not been cleaned since the last people had stayed there. 1 of the 4 burners on the stove worked, and the top of the 2 bunk beds was loose and could not be slept on. The floors were dirty and the door to the bedroom with the bunk beds could not be used per the owners' instructions. If this location were maintained properly, it would be a fantastic place to stay. The views are wonderful and the size and location of the property are great.

Winter get away

The property is very clean and well designed. The view is spectacular especially with the group of hang gliders. We had 2 children who loved the toys , the bunk beds and the “giant tub”. The weather wasn’t the best but we hope to come back in the summer. A great get away from Covid dull drums.

Great view and quiet setting

We enjoyed the roomy layout and the view from the deck. We could see whales just off shore. It is a short drive down the hill to the beach. Some might walk it, but wouldn’t recommend it as it is a steep climb. The deck gets very hot in the afternoon sun for a few hours. Driveway is a little steep but the garage is ample for two cars. Two small TVs have cable, streaming, and DVDs. There’s a bit of pet smells from the carpets, but otherwise nicely maintained and clean.
