Hotel conveniente
Pensamos q las cabañas estarían en el bosque,pero no es así. Sin embargo está cerca de las actividades que ofrecen las montañas Pocono. Se necesita auto. Lo malo fueron las camas. Lo bueno la limpieza.

This is a great family place for camping staying in a cottage lot of things to do there the cottage me and my fiance Stadium was extremely clean people that work there are very nice extremely quiet there very peaceful

It’s off of a main road, there are only a handful of cabin and cottages, the remainder of the grounds are dedicated to private owned trailers which is really weird because you feel as though you are on someone’s private property while walking through. There are cute trinkets which are for sale all over the grounds. If you are staying in a cottage bring sheets and towels, they don’t provide this. Not sure about the cabins but I would imagine there is even less in there. The store on the grounds has all you need to start a fire or the bbq and snacks for sale which was convenient.

We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay. Cottages come with or without linens. When you make your reservation you choose one or the other. The campground has many tent sites/ rv sites and seasonal campers. Anyone staying in the campground is welcome to walk the grounds without exception. We hope to see you again soon.

Outstanding place - would go again
Excellent. Staff were friendly, helpful, and quick at check in/out. The Cottage had more in it than we expected, allowing us to really enjoy our time there.

Amazing experience
My brother and I stayed at the campground while we were in town for the IndyCar race at Pocono Raceway, and all can say is, I wouldn't stay anyplace else. The staff was extremely friendly, the campground is very beautiful, the overall experience was amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a campground, or just trying to get away from the city for the weekend. A+++

The owners are so nice and the property is sort of fun and unique. Very clean. Interesting layout and fun little sculptures everywhere. Great pool. It was our first camping trip with my 5 year old twin girls and we had a great time- even in the rain. Loved it.

Great place to stay!
We booked a last minute getaway and found this place online. We had a brief issue with a double booked cabin but the owners moved us into a cottage which we loved. We ended up staying an extra day! We will undoubtedly be back with our kids next time. Camp ground is clean and quiet. Lots to do in the immediate area or you can relax right there on site!

The property owners were very friendly at check in. However, the cabin was full of bugs, including live spiders. The top and under the beds were full of dead bugs. it seems that the cabin had not been ventilated for a long time because the stench inside was horrible at first. I wish they had cleaned the cabin before our arrival. My little son was very scared of the spider bites specially at night. There is only one bath house. They should have one more or they should install more showers, toilets and hand driers. The facilities are aged from the 60's or older. On three other hand, he pool was OK and the outside of the cabin was also OK,

Gosh, I wish you had stopped back with the owners and mentioned a problem? I have never noticed or heard of a stench before and would have gone out immediately to see what was going on. I you rented a primitive cabin then it is extremely basic. There are pictures on our website. The cabins are in the woods. The bath house is more then adequate for the size of our campground and never full. The campground was built in 1976. We are not a resort and do not claim to be. If you want to camp in the woods and enjoy the outdoors we are what you are looking for. If you prefer a hotel we are not going to make you happy. I am sorry that your experience wasn't what you were looking for.

Family Friendly
This is our second stay in Hemlock. Perfect for family gathering, bbq and good environment. I love we can do bonfire. It is fun to be with friends and family in front of fire and chit chat.

We stayed in one of the cottages. It has: (all small) bathroom, bedroom, living room with kitchen. Friendly staff, good location - close to the Tobyhanna lake, quiet place. Some things to be improved though. More comments below

We stayed in the cottages which were cute and comfortable and worth the price. The weather wasn't great so we really didn't get to enjoy any of the other things that were offered in the campground. We we stay again.

This is a well run cottage/cabin site. We stayed in the cottages - rooms are a bit small, but has everything you needed - a small kitchen with fridge, pots, pans and bowls for some cooking. It also has outdoor fire pit. The site has a nice little playground and outdoor pool for kids to play. It also have a few outdoor activities such as a big checker game and horseshoe. Staff are very warm and welcome. They also have a recreation area with several arcade games - it's a nice plus with young kids, but some game machines are old and broken. However, the description on the hotels.com about the room is misleading - the website says that the 1-bedroom cottages have 1 double bed and a bunk bed. But what they had in the room is a queen bed. They do have a sofa bed in the living room though. Another downside is that the rooms are very small, and the furniture are old.

Thank you for your review. We try very hard to make people's stay a comfortable one. I will look into the expedia advertising at the cottages saying bunk beds as they clearly do not. Cottages have a bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Cabins have the bunk beds. Sorry for the confusion. We are a campground and do not strive to be modern. Our goal is for our customers to be comfortable and to come home from our property with good memories to last a lifetime. Our cottages are cozy but with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom, they are larger then a hotel room and more then adequate for the number of people they sleep.

Worse place ever.
I have to go back home same day not what I rented. I rented a small house with bathroom and electricity and the gave me a room with no electricity and nothing on it.

I am sorry that what you rented wasn't what you thought it was. I did show you the paperwork from when you rented and you had mistakenly picked the wrong cabin. Unfortunately, we did not have a cottage available to upgrade you to.

Great cabin experience
The staff was extremely friendly. I read the full description and called ahead so I knew exactly what to expect. We had cabin 13 with a fire pit and no electricity. Just bring your own linens and firewood and you'll have a fantastic weekend. We were very close to neighbors but everyone was respectful and it was comfortable to know that we were not completely alone in the woods. The showers are indeed very nice and clean. I never ran into trouble of having to wait. I'm glad we brought extra blankets because it can get cold in the woods. Definitely worth a return trip!

It was nice at the camp ground. Lots of stuff for kids to do. The showers could have been a little better, the stream was very fine so it was hard to rinse your hair. Over all it was a nice camp ground.

A little chilly
It was a very nice camp ground lots of things for kids to do in a nice area. The owner was super helpful and nice however it should be listed which cabins or cottages have the kitchens and heaters. It got a little chilly out and we were unprepared because we thought they were heated.

Great Vacation Spot
It was an amazing trip. My family loved the cottage and its surroundings. The staff was very nice and always friendly. My family and I will be visiting again next summer!!
