“Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit.”

“Had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend at the Riverview cabin. Fantastic location - access to the river itself is easy. The cabin itself is rustic but has everything you need. We loved it. The quiet was much needed. Glenn Manor is a great vineyard and a quick trip. We hope to come back again. ”

“We stayed at this cabin for a long weekend and it was great. Nice private and quiet. Loved the hot tub. Fully equipped kitchen was nice to have. You do have to bring your own towels, sheets , and bath soaps which they do tell you ahead of time. The location was perfect for the National park and caverns. River outfitters for tubing and kayaking was a few minutes away. Definitely recommend this cabin! ”

“I wanted to take my kids to Luray Caverns and to explore Skyline Drive because those were good memories from my childhood. The kids (10 & 12) enjoyed both. We loved being right on the river but I'll admit the bugs were out in full force this first weekend of May. This was our first time renting a pet friendly home so we could bring our small dog and I am thrilled to say that you could not tell that other dogs had been staying there. The home was clean and did not smell at all like "dog." Thanks...

“Myself and a few friends stayed here in late April. The views from the cabin are as good or better than many on the Appalachian Trail or other nearby trails and parks, and the cabin itself was well appointed. The hosts were great and very prompt with communication. The road and driveway to access the property are gravel and somewhat steep, but I didn't feel like we needed high clearance or 4 wheel drive at any point (in good weather). I would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a great cabin on the river! Very clean and excellently stocked. It had everything we needed! Let friendly. Our dogs loved the pet enclosure and it was great having it right off the deck. The owner checked on us after a storm to make sure everything was good. We will definitely be returning!”

“Our stay was exactly what the doctor ordered. My partner and I were looking for a nice waterfront getaway house for the weekend and this place delivered. Only wish we could have stayed a little longer! Perfect for a couple or small family, the house had some nice perks. The outdoor decks were nice for relaxing and dinning. “This is the most incredible property we have ever stayed at via VRBO. It was amazing! The cabin was just beautiful; trust me the photos don’t show nearly the beauty as seeing it in person. The property was immaculately clean. Annette was extremely responsive. If I could give this cabin 100 stars I would.
