“My husband and I loved the unique Hotel Laurance. It is so beautiful and well done. Our room had a lovely kitchen, sitting area and bedroom. The building is old, but completely renovated and has no elevator. We did have to walk up a flight of steps to the 2nd floor and then a few steps in front of the door to our room. “This glamping cabin is a great place to stay! Jen and all her critters were awesome, the cabin was very comfy with VERY warm and cozy blankets for our stay during some chilly nights. It IS camping. The cabin isn't heated (there isn't even a solid door, just a screen and a curtain), and you'll need to haul your water (it's a short jaunt and not hard if you just fill a small jug each day). I highly recommend renting a camp stove from Jen if you aren't bringing your own as this was much easier than...

“We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day.”

“Very cute, Loved the porch for morning coffee. Wish there had been a second bathroom upstairs. At my age, it’s at least a couple trips down the stairs at night. Disappointing that there was no cable or whatever and internet was very slow so couldn’t really use the TV. But maybe it was just us. Didn’t really miss it that much. Would definitely stay again. During the remainder of our trip we kept saying how we miss the porch!”
