“One of our best mini-vacations in a long time...Mountain Rose Horse Farm is a little slice of heaven on Earth! We've already been discussing another visit. Can't say enough positive about this place and the owners, Emily and Rachel. If you're looking for a place to rest, relax and recharge - they have created the perfect spot for you!”

“My friends and I had an amazing stay at the farmhouse! It exceeded our expectations! Check in was simple and the host was very responsive in communicating. We really felt like we were at home and enjoyed morning and evenings on the porch. The kitchen has everything you need! The beds were comfortable. The sitting areas very charming and overall the house was very clean!We didnt want to leave and hope to return again.”

“Nice farmhouse with a great view. We had 7 adults and 2 children and had plenty of room. Kitchen is big with an attached dining area. Front porch is nice to watch the sunrise or enjoy an evening beverage. The firepit is great (would recommend removing the tree blocking the view of the lake from the firepit). Best thing is the house was well stocked with all the paper products you need (minus kleenex), garbage bags, coffee, firewood, laundry needs and soap.”

Our Host Mark gave us a through understanding of all the interesting and delicious wine and port he is creating on the Rock Stream property. “We were looking for a comfortable place to spend time while exploring around the Finger Lakes region - and this was just the place. The location allowed us to easily travel to various wineries, restaurants, and sites around the area. Nothing is walkable, but the drive was easy. We spent an entire afternoon/evening just hanging out on the front porch enjoying the clear sky, beautiful weather, and quiet neighborhood.
