“The room was excellent. Keeping me on breakfast were both very good and served in a most friendly way. The staff for all very friendly efficient and helpful. We would certainly visit again but would maybe ask for a slightly different room with a more comfortable mattress. This though, is purely a matter of preference. ”

Had a meal with family in the evening & can definitely recomnend eating here - food is excellent, using local ingredients. Had bacon rolls to takeaway on checkout, which was a nice surprise. Looking forward to our next stay - we wouldn't go anywhere else when visiting the area.”

“We were only staying one night while we were working in the area. The room was large, comfortable and clean. There is a bar which is OK (there are nice pubs a short drive away as well) and the breakfast was a standard hotel buffet but of good quality. There are some very large but very dopey and friendly dogs.”

“Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend.”
