“10 of us headed to unknown terrirtory--stayed in Sewanee to attend a concert (Irish band "Altan") at The Caverns. We wanted a place we could all be together (ha, we travel in a herd) and wanted a place where we would not disturb anyone as we love our music, competitive games (ha). This place was PERFECT! “Cute house! Perfect for 3 and wonderful location! Needs a good deep cleaning to clear spider webs, dust and scuff marks throughout. But those are very minor. Would definitely recommend and hope to rent it again!”

“Nice property. Plenty of room, very inviting space. Host was very responsive to the questions I had prior and during our stay. Beautiful area and would highly recommend you bring or rent a boat during your stay. The steps from the water/dock back up to the house are visually overwhelming but built very sturdy and safe with plenty of landings to stop and admire the surroundings.”

“Charming perfect cottage that was exactly as described. This cottage emulates what is so special about Sewanee….a chance to get away from the fast paced world and slow down to enjoy God’s creation, with belived family and friends. It was great for our daughter (Sewanee 2020 alum) to be able to get back on the mountain with college friends and this location made it easy for us to enjoy all of the wedding festivities and “walk home”.”

Loved that it was away from the business of the city, but an easy drive to Chattanooga (about 20 mins). Had everything we needed and we enjoyed the 2 dogs that came to visit us on the porch while we ate dinner.”

“We loved this place ! My family of 4 visited Monteagle to hike at South Cumberland State Park. The house was cozy and the perfect place to hang out after hiking. The house was welcoming and so clean ! We enjoyed the screened in porch and the big screen TV in the den to watch some football !”
