“Loved this beautiful, new renovation in the heart of the Douro Valley! The flat was well furnished and very comfortable! Easy access to the train station and transportation to other towns and qintas in the area. Some great restaurants and shopping nearby as well as a lovely river walk. Unfortunately it was a little too chilly to use the pool, so we’ll have to come again in warmer weather. Our property contract, Rui, was very responsive and arranged for us to do laundry in the shared facility....

The village of Tuo is a sleepy village but offers a train station that can take you either way on the Douro. “We had a one night stay which was good. My only issue was the noise level. We could hear every voice (not sure where they were coming from) and that woke us up quite early. Other than that the place is immaculate with a gorgeous view of the Douro River.”

Close to everything we wanted to do, and their eating recommendations were spot on. We felt like family at the restaurant our first night. Would definitely stay again!”
