This condo was fantastic. The check in process was as simple and the instructions were very detailed. The entire building is classy and extremely quiet. Parking was also perfect. The walking trail literally runs right next to the building. The views were breathtaking…be sure to get up for the sunrise over the lake, it’s worth it! Also, I have stayed in countless VRBO properties and the kitchen in this unit was stocked far better than any I have ever seen. The choices of pans and dishes is extraordinary. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean. Every room feels even more spacious due to the high ceilings and great lighting. All essentials are included too like trash bags, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent. So many extras that are so well thought out. We would 100% stay here again.

Convenient location with a view

We loved our stay! The place is clean and within walking distance to local attractions. It does get a little buggy since the place is right off the Boardman Lake but the view is amazing though. Highly recommended.

Traverse City Treasure

We called this condo home base for day trips around the area. It was a lovely and peaceful place to land at the end of our very long days! The lake view is wonderful especially when it’s warm enough to enjoy the outdoor deck. The condo is beautifully appointed, incredibly comfortable and near lots of conveniences: stores, restaurants and access to downtown. Communication with the property owner is top-notch! Highly recommend!

Fall TC trip

We totally loved this condo and location!!! Everything was as we anticipated and even better! We loved walking to TC and the Boardman Lake trail! We enjoyed being on Boardman Lake watching the sailboat and rowing teams practice. Our trip couldn’t have been better! We will be back for sure!!!

Great Property

This property is clean, spacious and well stocked. Everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay is provided. This property is close to a bike path and fantastic restaurants. The property manager is very responsive and friendly. We loved staying at this property! Highly recommend.

Great Location

The condo is perfectly located on the Boardman Lake trail, giving you access to downtown and beyond using the TART trails. It is perfect for biking and walking around. We didn’t even move our car for days. The condo is new and has great views. The design is great but there are some craftsmanship issues around the condo (doors don’t close right, vents not screwed in, etc). Also, there are no window treatments in the main room or the bathrooms. We stayed at a discounted summer rate due to construction across the tracks, which made it a great value. Don’t know if we would ever pay summer rates ($500/night).

June Stay at Boardman

Very pleased with our stay. This was our 2nd time at this condo. It is very well stocked with all the amenities you could want. Location is great, close to town, and we love walking on the Boardman Trail.

Absolutely Perfect!

This is the second time we've stayed at this property because it's absolutely perfect. There's a beautiful view over the lake, it's the perfect distance from the city where there's zero noise but it's a quick drive to anything you'd want. The place itself is wonderful. The couch is so cozy and perfect for napping and watching movies in front of the fireplace. The balcony is great for having breakfast while looking out over the lake. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen is modern and any time I thought "Oh I wish we had ___" my wife would end up finding one in a cupboard somewhere. I could not be happier with my stay here, and if I'm in the area again I will probably be trying to get this space.

Lovely Lakeside Penthouse

We just enjoyed 4 nights at the Boardman Penthouse and truly enjoyed our stay. Its located in a quiet and peaceful lakeside location just outside Traverse but with plenty of places to go and see nearby. The condo was well appointed and comfortable with great lighting and an open floor plan. We really enjoyed Traverse and can't wait to go back. We had other family members stay downtown and I think the Boardlab penthouse was superior in every way. We will be back again soon.

Relax and Enjoy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo, with its beautiful view, comfortable furnishings, and quiet location. We enjoyed walking on the trail, watching the rowers on the lake, and being minutes away from shops and dining downtown. The elevator worked fine and the excavation/construction in the area was not an issue during our stay. Our host, Katy, gave us all the info we needed to gain access to the condo, responded quickly to our questions, and gave detailed instructions for checkout, making the process easy. One note: Amazon streaming service was primary. It was a new one to me, but we figured it out. We would gladly stay here again!

Great Spot

The condo is very clean and in a great location! It is stocked with everything you might need for your stay including pots/pans, towels, and even soap/shampoo in the showers. It's close enough to walk to downtown (about a mile) and there is also Right Brain and TC Distillery within a block. The only two downsides were the elevator was down when we were there and there wasn't an update on when it would be fixed so being on the 3rd floor wasn't fun for loading/unloading but that's not the fault of VRBO. Check-in time was more strict than any other place I have been and they ask for money for guaranteed early check-in. However, they were flexible and allowed us to get in a little more than an hour earlier, which we appreciated. It's a great place and I would definitely go back and stay!!

Everything was as nice as picture! Very nice apartment with all amenities and appliances! Everything was super clean. Only one thing bothered me was that there was no cable/ antena. We had no way to watch the christmas nfl game. Veiw was very muchbworth it!

Great experience overall

Requested an early check-in explaining that our guests were flying in shortly after 4PM and we wanted to get the car unloaded before picking them up from the airport. I was told that I would need to pay for an extra night to guarantee an early check-in, or if the space was not rented the day before, they would let me know the day of. On the day of, I sent another message and got an automated response saying they absolutely did not allow early check-ins. This response did not seem like it came from the same person I had been communicating with. Really, 15 minutes would have mad all the difference in the world. (Or even a more personable explanation as to why we could not get in early.) Aside from that experience, our stay was very enjoyable. We had been made aware of the construction ahead of time, and it wasn't very disturbing. There was an issue with the elevator that was dealt with promptly as well. I would strongly suggest that some window coverings be installed in the living area. When the sun is out, the southern half of the sofa is not usable.

Awesome Condo

This condo was exactly as portrayed. Very comfortable and fitted out with everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. The only disappointment were the TV channels…..way too limited with no local news, weather or sports. We would have liked to know before booking that it was streaming, no cable.

Can't wait to return

spacious beautiful confo-glitches with check- in and the television ( missed the big game of the football season due to streaming only) - but loved being on the lake- watching sunrise and sunsets and the crew teams practicing in mornings. Owners are most kind- a drawer of leftover containers. eco-friendly laundry soap and washing machine soap. Hope to book again soon and thx to staff who responded quickly to our issues. Central location to exploring the entire area and both peninsulas. No issues with construction noise although they were there our last two days. Wonderful stay!
