The place was extremely clean (which is super important to us) and comfortable. Location was great, as it was close to downtown TC. Downside was that there isn't free parking...we knew it beforehand, and it wasn't a deal breaker for us. There was plenty of paid parking close-by, and I even found a free stretch of street parking about a block and a half away.
When we arrived at the condo the temp in the place was 62 degrees...freezing! Thermostat was set at 70, so something seemed to be wrong with the thermostat or HVAC. I turned the heat on to get it up to a comfortable temp (this is in July by the way), and then set it back to AC at 72 degrees before going out to dinner. When we returned from dinner, it was 62 degrees again. I texted the property manager at 9pm to let them know something wasn't right. About 45 mijnutes later they texted back and said it was probably a previous guest that programmed it wrong and said they could get someone out tomorrow morning to look at it, or I could attempt to reschedule the program.
I turned the heat back on, got it to temp, then turned it off so we wouldn't end up freezing during the middle of the night. Thankfully it wasn't too hot outside. In the morning I played with it more and discovered that if the fan was set to "run continuously" it would constantly call for cold air regardless of temp. I let the property manager know, and since we were only staying one more night, I said I was fine with them fixing it once we checked out.
Communication prior to check-in was via email, and they said there would be an iPad there with a digital guestbook and info about restaurants, things to do, etc. as well as check-out procedures. There was no iPad, so I asked about it, and they said they took it to update it. This would have been nice to have known...not a big deal that it wasn't there, but just one of those details that should have been communicated prior to our arrival.
Again, overall a very nice place to stay, just think there could be a little better/more communication from property management.
