Loons Landing was the relaxing weekend getaway that my friends and I needed! The cabin was exactly as pictured, and very clean upon entry. The location was perfect, nestled between Interlochen and Traverse City for shopping and dining experiences, but well off the beaten path that you felt the peace and calm of the quiet lake life while relaxing in and around the lake. I had to contact the host at 9:30pm one night (trouble finding matches / lighter to start an outdoor bonfire), and she responded very quickly. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would readily book again!

Jennifer was a great host! We really loved the location right on Bass Lake that allowed us to kayak and fish all week long! The house itself was very clean and comfortable, and we loved the great views of the lake. To top it off, we were there on July 4th and enjoyed a front row seat to the Bass Lake fireworks! Overall, had an excellent time and would definitely recommend!

So relaxing!

We needed some rest after a graduation and a busy few months. Upon arrival, our host had arranged a welcome basket with all the fixings for s'mores. That was so nice! We had a great time. Fished off the dock and caught some Perch. It’s a nice, peaceful location. The house has a well stocked kitchen with everything you need to stay put. Thank you so much for the pleasant stay!

Lovely home

Home is very clean, spacious, and comfortable! Bass lake is beautiful! Excellent for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Close to Traverse city and LeeLanau, plenty of activities near by. Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

Overall, our stay at Bass Lake VRBO was peaceful and rejuvenating, offering the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and cozy relaxation, all in the heart of one of Michigan's most picturesque Traverse City areas. Quick trip up north

We rented this property for a short 3-night stay near Traverse City. Loved all the amenities, including the canoe, kayaks, firepit, and games (just wish we had more time to enjoy them). The house had everything we needed, and was just a short drive to TC. My only complaint would be that the hot water in the basement shower runs out pretty quickly, which can be a challenge with 6 people sharing two showers. But overall the house was great, and Jennifer was an excellent host.

4 great friends and a great house

We booked this house after staying in another on Bass Lake this past summer where we had a great time. So we talked with our friends about doing another house for the color tour in the fall which turned out to be an excellent time/choice. The house was a great choice at the right time. Our friends and us were well pleased with the colors and closeness of the town and a great place to eat. (Boone's)

pictures don’t do it justice!

this cottage was amazing! it was clean, in great condition, and was exactly as listed if not better. the pictures did not do this adorable, cozy cottage justice. check in was seamless and the property was perfect. i would definitely come back here! Jennifer was a fantastic host. my only minor issue is that I wish check out time was more normal like 10:00 or 11:00 AM, not 9:00am.
