“We had room 825 which was upstairs with a spa bath. Lovely views of the beach and plenty of room. Only complaint would be the towels were looking a bit old and Grey with some stains. Definitely need to be upgraded. Otherwise would definitely recommend. We stayed here for an event in Wellington, easy access to trains or busses into town”

“Extremely well set up, especially if you want to cook in your room and if you don’t….its 2 mins walk to get to a huge choice of restaurants. A 5 minute walk and you will find a supermarket. The room is spacious with great temperature control. Comfy bed and great shower with good water pressure. I loved the espresso machine too.”

“Located nicely! It’s a really good motel for such a cheap price! Clean rooms and spacious room! Love that it has a parking space for your car as well! Check in is supposed to be till 9pm but we arrived at 10pm - but the owner/manager kindly waited for us to arrive. The kitchennete is so big and had everything! The beds are so comfy and plenty of pillows! They have a big cabinet for you to pur your stuff in and plenty of hangers! Taking off some stars because in our room there was a bad smell...

“On the info it said "Park in front..." we had to park behind our rooms. It would have been easier if there was a second step leading into the room off the footpath. Good to have a games room, but not much variety of games. Our boys lost a coin in one (Table Ice Hockey) as it didn't work and couldn't find the table tennis balls. “Ther first room had an overwhelming bleach smell and the shower door was not clean, I could not sleep there! I asked for another room, it wa so little better, the bed was comfortable but I checked out early to book elsewhere.”

“The property is clean but needs lots more TLC. The bathroom looks quite new and the kitchen was in good condition also. Having a hot plate and cooking equipment was nice but would have liked a table and chairs to sit at to eat. The front door was old, draughty and generally very flimsy and not secure. There is no noise insultion, so you can hear your neighbours quite clearly. Its one of 3 motels on the road and you have to collect keys at a different location. Not a place I would recommend.”

“Had a small kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator with cookware and dishes. Room was very clean. Had a small balcony. No restaurant on site but there are options nearby. There is even a grocery store to buy water and stuff. We get very safe. They give access to a well equipped gym which was amazing. The housekeepers gave us bandaid when my daughter got hurt. I locked myself out by accident in night- the manager answered the ring and helped open my door within few minutes, even though...
