“It's in a rural spot off the highway but great location for what we wanted. We visited Franklin gem mines, Cherokee, and Bryson City all within a short drive. The house was clean minus a few dust bunnies. It definitely has some wear and tear but for the cost and location I have no complaints. My only negative which I'm not sure if the home owner can even control is that the tap water smelled horrible. Bring your own drinking water. ”

“Smoky Mountain Solace was the perfect home base after a long day of exploring the area. We had everything we needed and the inside was warm and cozy. We especially loved sitting on the porch in the morning and the evening. Parking for our large truck was a bit tricky but my husband mastered that quickly. We definitely recommend staying at SMS!”
