We were very pleased when we arrived. The neighborhood might be considered below average, but we were pleasantly surprised when we entered the house around 4:45 p.m. Silvianna, the Manager, contacted us almost immediately after we entered the home, I told her we were very pleased. We unloaded the car and made a quick trip to get groceries, then back to the house to eat, play games and get everyone to bed. My husband found an insect in the bed, which he thought was a tick. After a google search, we quickly learned it was a bed bug. We immediately contacted Silvianna and she said that she would get back with us. During that phone conversation a second bug was discovered. We quickly packed all of our clothes and belongings, except our food and the clothes that we had removed in the house (which we bagged in trash bags). Our daughter was able to locate a hotel that had a room large enough for all 7 of us and we moved to that hotel around 10:00 p.m. We did not hear back from Silvianna. On Sunday morning we returned to the house, removed our remaining items, locked up and left. We notified the Evolve Team of the situation and that we would not be returning and expected a full refund. We were able to locate a different VRBO home that was available in 2 days and made arrangements to stay in the Hotel for two nights. After confirmation of the insects we received a refund from Evolve and VRBO. In addition VRBO reimbursed us for our added expenses. VRBO is the GOAT!
