Sunset Road House es una cabaña de 1952 recientemente renovada de dos dormitorios y dos baños a solo 15 minutos de la entrada oeste del Parque Nacional Joshua Tree en Joshua Tree, CA.

Hemos diseñado esta casa para que nuestros huéspedes puedan desconectarse y relajarse mientras disfrutan de todas las comodidades modernas. Disfrute de los espectaculares amaneceres y atardeceres desde la amplia terraza y relájese en la bañera de hidromasaje por la noche rodeado de vistas desérticas abiertas, vida salvaje y un cielo estrellado y estrellado.

Recientemente hicimos una renovación total (¡hasta los postes!) en esta joya de mediados de siglo, por lo que tiene todas las comodidades modernas para que disfrutes. Se encuentra en 5 acres hermosos que puede explorar durante su visita. Debes conducir un par de caminos sin pavimentar para acceder a la casa, pero hasta ahora ningún visitante ha tenido un problema, ¡Prius incluido! Los residentes locales incluyen conejos, correcaminos, tortugas, coyotes y todo tipo de criaturas del desierto. Lo que más nos gusta de la propiedad es que realmente se siente como si estuvieras en el medio de la nada. Registrarse y desconectarse :)

El gran espacio abierto de concepto tiene una cocina moderna, comedor y sala de estar. Hay dos dormitorios y dos baños completos. El principal tiene una cama king (con baño en suite) y el segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales que se pueden convertir en un rey, a petición suya. El segundo dormitorio también tiene un baño completo. La casa funciona bien para un grupo de amigos, dos parejas o familias pequeñas. Si necesita alojamiento para más huéspedes, también tenemos un remolque de viaje vintage recientemente renovado disponible para alquilar cerca. ¡No dude en preguntar sobre nuestras otras propiedades! Se admiten mascotas con una tarifa por mascota de $ 35.

Sunset Road House está a unos 12 minutos en coche del centro de Joshua Tree (tiendas de diversión, restaurantes y bares) y a 15 minutos en coche del Centro de Visitantes del Parque Nacional Joshua Tree en la entrada oeste del parque. Además del senderismo, estamos cerca del renombrado Integratron (una experiencia de baño de sonido curativo) o disfrutamos de un recorrido por la granja de orquídeas Gubler. Living in CA in this economy we share our home with our 4 adult children and grandbaby and let me say this was a much needed get away. It was secluded, quiet and beautiful. Exactly what this overworked and overstimulated gen x couple needed. We drove through Joshua Tree national park during the day and enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi at night. 10/10 and can’t wait to go back.

We spent an amazing 4 days and 3 nights at the house near Joshua Tree. Clean, comfortable and inviting. Owners responded quickly with any questions we had. Beautiful area to watch the stars at night and about 30 minutes or so to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. All the amenities were there as advertised.

Was looking for a place that was super remote but with all of the comforts of home. This place hit just right. Check in process was easy, everything we could need was available (robes were super cozy and perfect to put on after a soak in the spa). Visited the area for a long weekend escape for my husbands birthday and enjoyed every second. Woke up to an amazing sunrise on both mornings. Wish I could have stayed more than 2 days, but I will be back. Thank you!!

As i was driving into this beautiful home I felt like i had made a mistake, but wow was i so wrong! My friends & i were welcomed by this beautiful, peaceful, welcoming home. I dont think the pictures do this place justice! It truly feels like you are able to disconnect from the city and have all the conforts of the city life.

Nestled in a secluded corner of the Joshua Tree desert, this enchanting home embraced us with warmth and tranquility from the moment we arrived. The property boasts a stunning cactus garden that perfectly complements the serene desert landscape. During the day, we cooled off in the refreshing pool, and as the sun set, the hot tub provided a cozy retreat under the starry sky. The interior of the house is bright, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with unique, stylish touches. Every detail has been considered, and the home is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. Despite the remote location, a large grocery store is conveniently just 20 minutes away. Our stay here was nothing short of magical—both rejuvenating for the body and soothing for the soul. The stargazing experience was truly extraordinary, and we were able to capture breathtaking photos of the Milky Way. We can’t recommend this oasis enough and can’t wait to return.

This vacation rental in Joshua Tree was fantastic! It offered plenty of activities and was perfectly located near the park. The check-in process was seamless, and the sunset views were breathtaking. The hot tub and pool were perfect for the weather during our stay. Highly recommend!

It was wonderful to escape the rush of daily life in this peaceful, quiet, and lovely VRBO. All you could see were the mountains in the distance and all you could hear were the sound of birds. Our batteries were recharged. Kathryn and Jon were lovely hosts and answered all our questions quickly. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Joshua Tree next.

We really enjoyed the serenity of our stay as we lounged in chairs watching the sunset and soaked in the hot tub under the stars. The house was clean and comfortable and was a wonderful place to unwind after long days of hiking in JTNP and sight seeing the unique art exhibits within minutes of this lovely home. We were able to take a short day trip out to Ladder Canyon, the Salton Sea Rec Area, Bombay Beach, and Salvation Mountain. We'd love to return here again in the future and continue exploring all that this beautiful desert area has to offer!

My husband and I wanted to find a nice quiet place to unwind for a night, kid free. I messaged the owner with a question and she promptly replied. By the end of the day, I knew I wanted to book here! The place was in the middle of no where which we loved, so much privacy! Easy to find and check in was so quick and easy. The place was clean, cooled and ready for us. We especially loved the Hot tub at sunset. We also were left a complimentary s’mores kit which was so thoughtful. Everything was as described and we really enjoyed our night there. We would definitely book again!

The Sunset Road House was the perfect place for our anniversary get away. It was exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed, all the basics for cooking (not to mention a French press!) and the AC worked fabulously in the 110+ degree heat we had while there. We also loved the little record player and vinyl collection. Best of all, it was amazingly quiet and we had a number of visitors - a jackrabbit greeted us, a roadrunner stopped for shade on the back patio, and a pack of coyotes strolled through on our last evening. It was a short drive to Joshua Tree and the National Park so it made for a great place to get away from everything but still be convenient. Kathryn was absolutely fantastic to work with, immediately responding to messages, and has the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. And if you happen to run into Rick, he's more than happy to provide info on local places to check out. Thank you so much for this gem in the desert and the wonderful hospitality!

This house is outstanding... clean, comfortable, well-appointed and QUIET. It is in the desert with very little around (which is what we wanted), yet only about a 15 minute drive into Joshua Tree town. Kathryn the owner was GREAT to work with. She is extremely accommodating and responsive. Every inquiry was attended to immediately. I wish she owned every VRBO we stay in. If you are looking for a pleasant, relaxing getaway, this is it!

This house was amazing… it had a gorgeous yet subtle Bohemian vibe, was well-stocked with all of the necessities (and lots of extras) and was sparkling clean. Everything about it captured the essence of the landscape and gave my family and me that Joshua Tree experience I was looking for. The fireplace, hot tub, swimming pool (loved the cold plunge!), the hammocks, outside dining space and fire pit made it a true desert oasis. The hosts responded quickly and graciously to all of my questions, and the whole booking experience was easy and seamless. I’ve already recommended it to my friends who are planning a trip there, and I plan to go back again as well. It truly is a gem!
