This little studio was perfect for me, my husband, and our dog Ozzy! The bed is huge and very comfortable and the temperature is easy to control. It felt like a lot of space despite just being one room. A short, pleasant walk to a private beach or 7 min drive/15 minute bike ride to the more popular public beach with dining and shopping. The space was well stocked, we especially loved the kitchenette and shower. It also had a few bonus features we enjoyed, such as a sound machine, surround sound TV, and a private patio with a nice view in the evenings. The neighborhood is quiet and cozy. It’s a 5 minute walk to the island dog park. We will be back!

Beautiful spot with peaceful view and beach access

The apartment is a cozy suite beneath the owner’s home, with private access, its own porch, and a driveway parking spot. Inside was thoughtfully arranged with almost everything we needed.Positives: The location was fantastic—private beach access just steps away, plus a lovely view of the pond and dunes. We appreciated the many extras: outdoor shower, beach chairs, hammock, smart TV, well-stocked kitchenette, extra blankets, beach towels, charging ports, and a white noise machine. Small touches throughout showed care and attention.Negatives: We could hear the owners through the interior door to their garage, which felt less private. The white noise machine helped. Even with blinds closed, the windows lacked nighttime privacy. The bed sagged toward the middle due to broken support legs, and there was no full-length mirror. The Nespresso machine didn’t work properly, often stopping mid-brew with a red light.Overall: A few issues with privacy and comfort, but the location, amenities, and thoughtful details made for an enjoyable stay. More transparency about the owners living on-site would help, but we still appreciated the convenience and charm of the space.

Wonderful place to stay and location! The suite is well organized and was in excellent condition! There were lots of little extras to take advantage of. It’s a 5-7 min walk to the beach, a part of which includes a walk over the turtle pond bridge. There were tons of turtle to see and they were eager to see me. Would definitely stay again!

My best friend & I made a last minute decision to get a place on Tybee island while traveling through on a girls trip & it was worth it. I Would stay here again. Close walk to the beach, the room was clean and large, overall great space for 2!

Quiet, clean neighborhood, beach themed decor, very clean and cute studio style space! Five minute walk to private beach area and a short drive to the busier end of the beach. Minutes away from great food spots. Would stay here again and recommend.

Beautiful Setting

The studio apartment was perfect. The location is beautifully maintained. It is a short walk along the private boardwalk to the beach. Along the way, there were egrets, turtles and other wildlife. The setting serene and the natural beauty is breathtaking. If you have the chance, stay here.

Cute place

Like that it’s on the north end of the beach. Easy to get on/off the island. Owners are on site, but didn’t bother us. They have a gas grill that was not on the listing (we never used it). Walking distance to the lighthouse, north beach bar and grill, and a park to walk our dog.

Nice location and clean property

Would recommend for a couple looking for a quiet place to stay. We rented bikes and were able to travel all over the island. This is studio lock-off so requires being extra quiet. Nice pond out back with dozens of turtles off the pier.

Zero Tolerance for Dogs on the.Beach

We had a wonderful time while on Tybee Island. The studio apartment was clean, bright and comfortable for the two of us and our dog. So much History, we visited Fort Pulaski, and took the light house trail. We even crossed paths with an armadillo. Also visited the Science Center. Great restaurants, and beautiful walks. The one down fault was zero tolerance on the beach for dogs and we could not leave the dog unattended in the apartment, so my husband and I took separate walks on the beach. It would have been nice to have early morning and later afternoon times for our pets. Other than that, if you don’t have a dog, I would highly recommend the locations.
