This was our 6th visit to Tybee and our first time staying on the marsh side. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Missy’s cabin was what I would call rustic chic. It was very well appointed with about anything you could want in a rental, decorated beautifully and eclectically, and maintains its island charm. We enjoyed sunsets every night, a few fires by the fire pits, watching birds and even a dolphin siting from the deck. We also enjoyed the two screened in porches. The location is very quiet and peaceful. We would highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit the island but also wanting a total chill and quiet place.

A little piece of paradise! If you like authentic, you’ll love this. Missy has managed to keep the cottages original charm while layering in modern amenities. Loved the local art and eclectic decor. Quiet neighborhood and convenient to everything. Our preference was North Beach where Dolphins swam by and birds migrated overhead. A visit to Crab Shack is a must for great seafood and quirky ambiance. Local taxi service has a bit to be desired for cleanliness but the golf cart was used majority of time anyway (beware of temperamental reverse gear). Would definitely recommend this location and property!

This was an absolutely wonderful week at the property! All the attention to detail from the smallest decorative item to all of the kitchen items - when Missy says she provides something, she really does! We wanted for nothing and - even with days of rain - had the best anniversary trip we've ever had! Thank You Missy for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage!

Perfect couples getaway!

Missy has done a wonderful job with furnishing, decorating and providing awesome amenities. It was so nice having a golf cart, kayaks, and outdoor shower. We especially loved sitting on the dock and unwinding on the swinging bed in the screened in area. The area was very quiet and felt secluded. We enjoyed our stay celebrating our anniversary!
My favorite spot for coffee and a good book.
We enjoyed watching the wildlife.
Stunning sunset views from the lot directly across the street.
This little guy visited us several times during our stay.

Tybee Cottage

Great stay - comfortable bed, great, private location, and bikes made it easy to get around. Very short bike ride to North Beach, which is by the lighthouse. Patio on dock with bed swing was a great addition to the stay. Perfect for reading, listening to music, or just enjoying the surroundings. Watched the sunset from the firepit area across the street. Could not kayak due to low water, but no fault of the owner. Outside shower is a great addition too from sandy days at the beach.

Relaxing stay at a Beautiful cottage

My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon and came back to spend our one year anniversary. This cottage is super clean and beautifully decoraded. We barely have to bring anything because the cottage has everything you need. Checking in and out is super easy. We are definitely visiting again.

Wonderful stay in very special cottage

We couldn’t have asked for a more special place to stay on Tybee. The cottage is so well equipped, thoughtfully designed, and in a great location with beautiful spaces for enjoying the outdoors. Great communication and easy check-in. I highly recommend this cottage for the quintessential Tybee experience.

Don’t miss out on this dreamy beach hideaway!

I cannot imagine a better place to stay! It is so quiet and peaceful. The bird watching was amazing and we loved the easy proximity to the beach/swimming - esp. via our very own golf cart!! ;) The record player was a great personal touch and don’t even get me started on the outside shower (a dream!!!) And on top of all that, there is also a FANTASTIC restaurant (“Seawolf” with local oysters) just a stone’s throw away. Don’t miss out on this special property!

Great location with wonderful amenities

My wife and I spent a couple of nights in Tybee after staying in Savannah. What a great way to vacation here. Tybee was a great place to spend a few days. We loved the property. It was super clean and well maintained. We were even able to check in early, and Missy was quick and responsive with texting and answering any questions. We kayaked a couple of days right out from the back of the house. Easy to do, but have to time around the high tides. Missy has a golf cart for use to get all around the island. This will save you $4/hr parking and is fun to do. She also had bikes that we didn’t have time to use. And I really enjoyed the guitar that I could play on. I would highly recommend this property to stay for an active vacation and enjoyment of Tybee Island.

Cozy Coastal Cottage

Beautiful and private retreat on the marsh on Tybee. Decorated in a comfortable and coastal style with a touch of whimsy. The bed is one of the most comfortable we’ve slept on. Appliances and all amenities are top notch. We could have slept on the porch swing on the screened in deck. It was that comfortable.

Relaxing time away

Husband and I stayed for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. The cottage is so cute and charming. You feel you are in a Nicholas Sparks Book. We loved sitting in the screened porch on the swinging bed and enjoyed the golf cart to explore the island. Missy was very attentive to anything we needed. It was a wonderful time away in a very magical place and would highly recommend this booking.

So very NICE!

It was so nice with the cottage and golf cart to explore. So peaceful and nice. The bed was so comfy. I spent a lot of time on the screened in part of the deck resting when not at the beach or exploring. We Love Tybee and the peeps local and non-local like us. We will be back!

Perfect Relaxing Honeymoon

This place will forever hold a special place in mine and my husband’s heart… when we were deciding on a honeymoon destination we both wanted somewhere closer to home where we could just BREATHE. This place was just what we needed. We were obsessed with every detail of this cottage. And the golf cart was such a luxury… it made our stay so easy and stress free.
