“Great location, very nice place”

“Puerto Azul is a beautiful condo, close to the pool. Very clean, bed was comfortable, Deserah was a great host! We were a little disappointed in the property as a whole.. elevator was out of order all weekend, pool chairs were torn and falling apart. We will definitely return, but hope to see some improvement of the property.”

“Great place! My daughter and I loved the decor, and you simply cannot get a better location than this. Walk downhill 3 min. or ride 1 min. by bike to the back gate at Barton Springs Pool (unfortunately closed during our visit). From here, the hike and bike trails unlock Zilker & Austin without traffic, in shade most of the day. There's a corner store with a pizzeria next door for necessities. The condo is cozy and easy to access, communication was great, and we had no complaints about the stay.”

The only thing to note is: it might be difficult for older people or those with mobility challenges. I took my 82 year old aunt to Austin with me. She did ok with the hill and stairs, but it took her a minute to navigate, her knees are scheduled to be replaced soon… otherwise she would have been fine, but she is active and healthy. “Location is great for restaurant/bars and UT Austin conference center access. Very clean, well appointed. Easy check-in. Great communication with host UNTIL the morning after the first night (2 night total stay), when I discovered the blow dryer was inoperable. “Very nice. Location worked well for us. Really appreciated the little extras like coffee beans and extra paper goods. It wasn’t an issue for us but there isn’t a laundry in the unit.”
