Wer in Bali seine Flittwerwochen verbringen möchte, der ist in diesem Hotel perfekt aufgehoben. Wir hatten unsere schönste Zeit dort und all unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Alle Mitarbeiter sind extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bestes Frühstück (À la carte). Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade auf die Ekapatni Villa mit eigenen Swimmingpool bekommen. Jeder sollte sich die Villa buchen egal wie viel sie kostet. Es zahlt sich aus. Mitten im Dschungel extrem Sauber und keine Tiere. Besonderes Dankeschön an Elfi. Wir sind gerade in Nusa Dua in ein Luxus Resort und wollten wieder sofort in Metland zurück, da man den Service nicht vergleichen kann.

This resort has been our favorite out of all of our many vacations around the world. The staff are all excellent! From the front desk, to the breakfast and dinner staff, drivers, cleaners, pool staff, photographer, spa staff, outdoor elevator staff, I could go on and on! Absolutely all of them are amazing, have smiles on their faces, and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect! The pool is beautiful, food is good, rooms clean, showers have great pressure and hot water, massages were amazing, breakfast delicious, absolutely everything we experienced in our stay was really amazing! We recommend this resort to anyone wanting a beautiful setting and a vacation to remember! There is a complementary shuttle to Ubud, which is approximately a 10 minute drive from the resort, and it runs throughout the day. The setting was perfect! We will return in the future!

The hotel is about 20 minutes from Central Ubud, because of its location the views are amazing, especially from the pool and the restaurant. However the property is really dated. We had to request a room change as soon as we checked in because the room given to us had a strong smell of humidity and triggered my partner's allergies. The second room also had a lot of humidity smell but it was a little better than the first one. The bed was uncomfortable, everytime you move it makes noises from how old or is. There are a lot of mosquitos in the room, I think when they clean they leave open the balcony doors for a while to deal with the humidity but then you can't sleep even when you put the mosquito repellent. The showers need to be cleaned and the amenities especially the shampoo and body washed replenished before the next guests arrive. The service is average, when I raised some comments about the issues in the room, they just apologised but never took action to make it better. The pool view and public facilities were great and the only reason why I would ever go back.

The absolute best place in Ubud. Cant believe how cheap this place is for the level of service, luxury and location. Even if prices were double it would be worth it. I will definitely be back! And also the staff are excellent

The view from our suite was spectacular. The staff were excellent they performed there duties with a smile and always stopped to talk to us and made us feel welcomed. The breakfast and afternoon tea was exceptional. Highly recommend this property

Beautiful resort with stunning pool by the forest. Rooms are exceptionally clean and beautiful with greenery views. Service is beyond excellent. The resort upgraded to another room immediately because the AC was not cold enough. They also checked my room before i left and found i had left items behind. Food is limited but i always took the free shuttle service to the main town for meals at the restaurants. I absolutely recommend this resort for quiet jungle holiday away from the noise. The staff is simply fanastic.

Situated in a serene river valley in a peaceful side of Ubud, but still a convenient distance from the busy part of town. So I thought we got the peaceful vacation that we wanted but still got to see Ubud and its little cafes and art shops whenever we wanted! The staffs are super nice and helpful. The hotel also have all facilities we needed. Swimming pool, gym, traditional spa, and its own little cafe and restaurant. Breakfast is also superb!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at MetlandVenya. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. The hotel is set in a peaceful and beautiful environment surrounded by lush greenery, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The pool area is exactly where you’ll want to spend your days when you’re not out exploring Bali. The overall atmosphere of the hotel, combined with the exceptional service from every staff member, made our stay feel like a honeymoon. The breakfast was also of a very high standard, offering both a buffet and à la carte options. We also want to highlight the amazing afternoon tea, we really enjoyed it every day! We also booked a private driver through the hotel for a two-day tour, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. Our driver, Terry, was absolutely fantastic. He did much more than simply drive us from one destination to another—he acted as a knowledgeable guide, sharing insights about the places we passed, providing local information, and recommending attractions and restaurants along the way. He made us feel so safe and comfortable despite Bali’s often hectic traffic. Terry was always calm, cheerful, professional, and incredibly funny. He truly made our days in Ubud even more memorable. In summary, every member of the staff deserves a gold star. They always greeted us with a smile and consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every guest was happy!

Great staff.Pool area fabulous.about 15 minutes out of Ubud centre.There is nothing outside the hotel...small shack for bottled water, only 2 small restaurants nothing towrite home.Breakfast is average..eggs bacont is not buffet you order and portions are poor..eggs benedict is good but the main breafast is 1 small sausage 1 bacon 2 mushroom 1 ect...if you want quiet like we did and dont mind nothing outside its geat.

amazing view and beautiful ethnical design. The room and bathroom is very spacious. The windows can be opened to feel an open air bath experience. I also recommend to just open the balcony door and windows for more natural experience. The pool area is pretty quiet, great for reading and just gazing into the greens. First I thought this place is just great for adults as the contour is pretty steep and the place is more for relaxing, but it turns out that my toddler enjoys staying here very much. The staffs are friendly, they help making sure my toddler is safe everywhere, and they are overall nice to my kid. She learn some kind of traditional game here i think. Oh and the TV is connected to youtube and Netflix or something, and that google home thing is quite fun to keep my toddler busy in the room. food is great, wine is great, I think there's not a single night here where fireflies don't keep me company under the clear night sky with bottle on my hand kudos!

I stayed at the hotel from September 5-12 for one week as a solo traveler and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is pleasant, friendly, and welcoming. Even as a solo traveler, I felt comfortable and well looked after from the beginning.I particularly enjoyed the hotel’s setting and ambience. The property blends beautifully into the river valley, creating a peaceful atmosphere that fits perfectly with the natural surroundings. The attentive room service also added to the experience. I appreciated the handwritten welcome notes and the personal follow-ups to check whether everything was to my satisfaction. These thoughtful details made my stay feel very personal. I would also like to give special recognition to Rai from the breakfast restaurant. Her warm and approachable personality made her a pleasure to interact with. She gave me excellent support when choosing and organizing my Mount Batur tour and showed genuine interest in how my day had been and what I was planning for the following day. This personal and sincere interaction really stood out during my stay. The breakfast was another highlight. Everything was delicious, with a great variety of options and a wonderful selection of freshly prepared dishes and extras.There is only one small point that could be improved: the showers could be cleaned a little more thoroughly in some areas. This was a minor issue and did not significantly affect my overall experience. Overall, I had a lovely week.

This hotel was rebranded from Horison Suite to Metland Venya and has seen a lot of improvement. I loved the infinity swimming pool, the excellent food, and the helpful staff. The room was clean and beautiful. You can hear natural sounds all day, like birds, forest chickens, and the river in the morning. They offer Balinese activities; I joined the canang sari making and wore a Balinese costume. It's the perfect place to spend a honeymoon. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it.
