“Desolate area. Cabin was perfect size and cozy. Everything we needed was there. Cabin owners responded to questions and concern’s in a timely fashion. Had our two nine year old boys that couldn’t play on their tablets or video game consoles. “The cabin was top notch, clean, quiet setting, nice get away. Smaller room by the bathroom has a soft mattress and the Florida type room has a firm mattress. If flying in needing to rely on Ubers or food delivery, this isn't the place. I was barely able to get an Uber back out. Otherwise I'd absolutely rent again but only if I drive myself or rent a car. ”

Also used to train our young Labrador Retriever (the reason we were in the area). Turns out within a half hour drive there are several national caliber training grounds for the various retriever hunt disciplines. John our host couldn't have been more accommodating. “My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.”
