“The bed was a bit hard for our liking, woke up aching. ”

“We had no choice as there was no where else in Burra. Previous reviews had complained about a step in a dark corridor and nothing had been done to fix this problem and my partner also missed this step and stumbled. At least some yellow tape on the step would help. The corridors are stacked with old boxes and other bits of junk. You do get what you pay for and the room is simply furnished. At least the room was warm. The meal however was wonderful. Would eat there any time”

“We are lucky to live in an 1854 cottage and very much appreciated the restoration of Tickle Cottage, the furniture and all of the quality kitchen equipment”

“Had a lovely 3 nights.... Quiet, great views, sitting by the outdoor fire pit with a glass of red! Oh and the marshmallows. Hosts were great, plenty of wood for the fires! Don't forget the ponies, the Flinstones, ducks and kangas. Really enjoyed the stay 😊 ”
