“My partner and I were looking to get away for a few days, and found Sunny Ridge Farm on Vrbo. We couldn’t have imagined how relaxing and beautiful our Farm Stay would be. Our hosts were absolutely fantastic and welcoming. Part of the reason we chose this location was to be off the beaten path, yet close enough to visit an array of local breweries and attractions. We will be returning”

“I suppose I should lead with this is a pretty dated motel, but it's VERY clean. Like, not just OK-clean; it's evident that people are working extremely hard to keep this property as clean and upkept as possible, which isn't easy when a property is older. The care is evident. The hosts were very nice. We had a small problem after we checked in (that turned out to be nothing), and the host was at our door within a minute to check it. The towels were kind of scratchy, and the soap wasn't the best...

“We loved this property. Close to everything! We were in town celebrating my daughter’s bday, who is a Messiah student. Our location to her and downtown was perfect. The property is quiet and lovely. We’ve already reserved it again!”

“This is actually a refurbished hotel and I did not feel safe staying as it was basically empty except for 2 other vehicles. We ended up booking another place as this has no one on site only a note saying "call or text" if you have any issues. Not the way to do business as a VRBO.”

“Nice place for the cost. Close to Hershey attractions. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was just coffee, apple juice and cereal. We went down the road to a place called County Meadows Restaurant. Very good food with reasonable prices.”

“The motel manager was rude and acted like we were inconveniencing him when we arrived at 10:40 pm at night. All he had to do was provide a working key to our room, but it took three attempts before the door would open. The next morning, he threatened that "karma" would get me. The rooms were clean but kind of smelled aged.”

“Norm was great from start to finish and we loved everything about his place. Great old house with tons of cool stuff and everything in great condition. Property is spacious quiet and peaceful.”

We were thankful for rainy weather because we did not want to leave! Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU to the owners and host for preserving this iconic York County site and for the perfect place to have a mini-vacay with my girls!”
