Vista espectacular "Retiro de la isla Driftwood", frente al mar privado en James Point.

Ubicada en el hermoso lado oeste de la isla Vashon, esta es una casa frente al mar única y recientemente renovada en una playa de arena privada con acceso a muelles y boyas. Tiene una vista amplia y espectacular de 180 grados de Puget Sound frente a Gig Harbor hacia el sur, la península de Kitsap hacia el oeste y Mount Baker hacia el norte. No hay otro lugar en la isla como este. Nuestra casa de 3 habitaciones está bellamente amueblada para que te sientas cómodo y como en casa. Las paredes de madera restauradas le dan un ambiente cálido, rústico y de retiro. Puede disfrutar de la vista desde el interior de la casa o sentarse cómodamente en la cubierta envolvente orientada al oeste y al norte. La hermosa vista del agua hacia el oeste es relajante e impresionante. Puede experimentar atardeceres coloridos, una calma brillante o una capa blanca y aguas ventosas y tormentosas. Cada día es una experiencia única, nunca igual. La propiedad también es accesible en barco anclado.

La habitación más grande está amueblada con una cama queen size, la habitación del medio tiene una cama doble y la habitación más pequeña tiene una cama individual. La casa tiene capacidad para un máximo de 5 personas.

La cocina está totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos modernos, como lavavajillas y microondas, además de café y té recién hechos. Se proporcionan toallas, ropa de cama fresca, champú y jabones. El baño es un baño de 3/4 con ducha. Hay un área de lavandería completa con lavadora y secadora para su conveniencia.

El salón está cómodamente amueblado y tiene un televisor y un reproductor de DVD. Puedes acceder a Netflix o Amazon Prime. Wi-Fi está incluido.

Nuestra playa de arena alberga una gran variedad de vida marina, mamíferos y aves. Es probable que vea águilas, garzas azules, nutrias marinas ocasionales, focas o ballenas orca si mantiene sus ojos en el agua. Hay una gran cama de dólar de arena y múltiples mariscos a lo largo de la playa.

Estamos ubicados a unos 5 minutos del centro de la ciudad para acceder rápidamente a la escena local. Vashon Island es una pequeña comunidad, hogar de muchos artistas, músicos, granjeros, teatros, restaurantes, cafeterías, tiendas y mucho más. Our stay at Driftwood was everything we wanted and needed. Mary Ann made our entire experience, from booking to check out, seamless and enjoyable. The house has everything you need and it feels like quality the moment you come onto the property. Heaven in the Rain

Stunning definition of the word "cozy"! The location is beyond amazing-- the cabin reminded me of my Gramps' cabin in Colorado, but with every single detail already considered. The beds were fine, kitchen fantastic, the wrap-around, covered porch great--- and this arm of Puget Sound was in our front yard! The Pacific Northwest's "atmospheric river" was there for the whole time, but we were safe and warm and had lots of windows to view the interesting ship traffic from south to north in the Sound. HUGE shells on the little beach when the rain let up! Saw several big sea lions on purposeful journeys, and I am sure some orca went by, but we missed them. Vashon Island is paradise to me---we could not have been happier. Thanks so much, Mary Ann!

Awesome spot on the beach.

Peaceful, scenic, all we needed. The hosts are awesome - available if you need them, otherwise they leave you to enjoy. The house is well equipped and comfortable, off the main roads a bit, but that is part of the charm.

Maryann is the best owner I ever meet on VRBO its not one thing that you will not find in her home, its so welcoming, u name it and its there, even fuzzy socks for a cold night. Amazing! Driftwood Property Stay

This property was wonderfully cozy and picturesque. It was well equipped and the setting was beautiful. We stayed there for two nights for our son's wedding at a venue about 10 minutes away, so we didn't have much of a chance to enjoy the home or the outdoors since we were gone most of the time. We would love to come back for a longer stay.

Just what we needed, a perfect escape

The location is perfect, quiet and right on the water. Beach with plenty of sand and treasures brought in by the tide. Geese every evening, nesting boxes on the pier, crows and seagulls and cormorants. The house is lovely and comfortable and well stocked for cooking your own meals, plenty of towels and sand toys. A great place to set out and explore from, and come back to. Overall, I can’t imagine there’s a better place to stay on the island and I hope we can come back soon! Thank you for a great and restful vacation.

As always, terrific. Quiet and peaceful. House is immaculate. Easy in and out with my kayak. MaryAnn lives nearby. She always meets you when you arrive and is always available. It’s wonderful not having to deal with an impersonal property management company. And the Purple Martin show is very entertaining.

Driftwood Retreat is a DELIGHT!

Our annual Sisters Celebration was one of our best in 20 years. The accommodations were beyond our expectations, with a full kitchen and great appliances. We spent our time exploring the island and just spending wonderful time watching the boats and wildlife, including a morning visit from a young eagle. We encourage you to visit!

Charming Vashon Island beach house

This cute house was just perfect for our weekend getaway and I would highly recommend it. The house was spotlessly clean, everything we needed was provided, the host was wonderful and checkin/communication was a breeze.
