“Overall we had a nice stay at this property. It is a small older house which seemed to be renovated for renting. Sleeps six, not sure about that. There are two small bedrooms, and perhaps the couches are pullouts? Six would be tight. It had all of the things you might expect available in the kitchen for a rental at this price point.We saw some bunnies, and several turkey vultures on the property, and there were some big ants that found their way into the house. “House was extremely drafty - window air conditioning units still in the windows and not adequately insulated for colder temperatures. In addition, there was an odor that permeated the house which made things uncomfortable. The listing mentioned games in the game room - game room was a large empty space with no games. When the WiFi was down it was impossible to access the on line guide to the place. ”

“Very cute and comfortable place to stay. We were busy with wedding activities during our stay but the house was very enjoyable and relaxing to return to after a long day. It was decorated nicely and very clean. Close enough to NYC to spend a day there. Hosts were attentive and easy to reach if needed. Loved this little place and will definitely stay again when in the area. ”

“Good communication, price, and beautiful lake views. New appliances and an updated, large kitchen with a huge island, which is a nice feature. Overall, though, the place could use some work. The upgrades are “landlord special” style. The couches are not comfortable or spacious, and the house lacks a dining table so the only option is the island and doesn’t work well even for two couples. The place is also completely tiled (on the older side w some cracks) with no rugs anywhere, which makes the...
