Gracias para su visite

People who book with Expedia need to read to see the distance from town. We called this guest to make sure he knew where we were and gave him an opportunity to cancel. We have been getting so many guests from Expedia who do not answer us and say they didn’t know. Expedia posts the miles from townAnd there are so may videos and pictures of the road. All of these bad reviews are by people not doing their homework. I have asked Expedia to help me change my listing to discourage people from coming who are not looking for an adventure. They book with us because they cannot afford a beachfront hotel in town. We are off-grid and iff-road and should not be held to a standard if a bug chain hotel. These guests don’t even read the reviews to know about the dirt road. People come to the east cape for the adventure diving and snorkeling. People who know that are happy to come here to be away from town and bug hotels and so many people. I have groups here thanking us every other minute saying how great it is here and how happy they are with the service but they all did their homework. It’s not for everyone. When I got to a hotel that isn’t what I expected I blame myself for lack of research. I asked Expedia for help and they ask for my coordinates and never call me. N

Primero mandamos mensaje a el en text pero no contesta. Cuando el viene dice no problema sobre la musica para poco tiempo chocando sonido para evento proximo dia. otro huéspedes dicen no problema y despues hacen un reservacion para un grupo en la futura. Locamente mucho pero cuando huéspedes no contéstame, no tengo oportunidad a explicación.

Hola Alma siento much que halla sido complicado para ti llegar al hotel, después de haber esperado mucho tiempo en el trafico causado por la peregrinación, lamentablemente no hay gasolineras alrededor del hotel, pero el lugar es un paraiso y vale la pena llegar a el, en la pagina hay comentarios hacerca del caminoIn English this guest arrived to La Paz very late and started her journey at 6PM. They took the road over the mountains and there was a parade of Virgen Guadalupe and it was driving very slow. It is important for guests to know where we are and how long it will take to get there. We do not recommend driving on the dirt road in the dark if you have never driven before. Our regular guests choose us to be away from town and the gas stations and out there in the peace and quiet. It is important to know what kind of vacation you are looking for

Lo siento pero es un grande proyecto con mucho trabajo y estamos trabajando todo tiempo. El focus all es sistema sin mes no electricidad ni nada. Usamos bodegas todo día los empleados adentro y afuera para comida. Los menus existe adentro los habitaciones en un QR condigo

This guest did not stay at the hotel. He took a wrong road and never came anywhere near us. It was at night and he did not have directions. People who know the area are good guests for us but some people book and don’t know we are an hour from town. Most of our guests think it’s part of the adventure.

Thanks for the review. The room they chose had an electrical upgrade in process and I think the breaker was turned off. There were 3 rooms affected and other rooms to choose from. It was also very cold and nobody else in that building used the a/c. We always have a/c otherwise. Again, they preferred that room as it was larger.

In our correspondents with guests we ask them to contact us to make sure they have good directions. They did do that and were driving on a road that was closed. We try texting and calling before dark to make sure if time of arrival and no response. We wait all night for our guests. We did not know they were on their. Yes there are dirt roads but one along the coast is closed but gps still says that beach road is there.

Peoplecome to our hotel for the casual atmosphere, apparently too casual for this guest. It is very important for Expedia guests to be aware of the distance and that is a rural rustic area. most people rave about the art and for that matter the service. there is a big difference in the guests who want to be on The East Cape, away from crowds and big hotels and are happy to just chill there. People write reviews about the staff thanking each one by name so this is very surprising to hear. we are short handed and he was probably waiting tables at the same time and you can see the room from the lobby. again sorry for your disappointment.
