“We didn't want anything big because we were going to be busy with family and this place was perfect! Close to downtown so there is tons to do, also surprisingly quiet for how close it is. There is some work being done to the building but don't let that or the age of the building discourage you, there is some great character to this building and the apartment is very nice and homey! “The Walden house was a perfect fit for a group of eight adults with 3 being single ladies and 1 single man. Having a full bathroom on all three levels was great! We loved sitting on the deck. The decor was charming. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. It was easy to get down to the lake. The lake itself is very nice, but be careful of rocks. “The camper was nice and comfortable. The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. We rented the owners fishing boat and it was very nice for checking out the the different islands and bays. Owner was very accommodating for making sure we had everything we needed and supplied multiple containers of gas and even ice in his own coolers, so we didn't have to...
