“In August 2025 we had the perfect family vacation at the River House. My family of 9, ranging in age from 9 to 77, spent 5 nights in Joan’s beautiful house. I am in a wheelchair and have never stayed at a more handicapped accessible rental. Joan was helpful and gracious and when my bed was too high, she helped us work out a perfect solution and the elevator to all four floors was a lifesaver. Plenty to do around the area and kept us busy for a week with the rain that came in. Recomend using a backpack luggage and it made the stairs easier to conquer!Just be prepared”
