  • Experience a unique getaway at The Caboose at Station 451, just 10 miles from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This transformed 1926 train caboose is nestled in a private rural setting, close to I-40 and a short drive to popular destinations like historic main street Waynesville, Asheville, Tennessee, the Blue Ridge Parkway and MORE!

    Enjoy nearby hiking, waterfalls, local entertainment and dining, or unwind in the vintage caboose which features a queen-sized bed, Smart TV, and convertible couch for additional sleeping. The custom bath house features a luxurious double shower and premium amenities.

    Outdoor highlights include an oversized covered porch with relaxing sitting areas and an outdoor TV. You'll enjoy the private outdoor shower, fire pit, grill, and scenic views, all set amidst gorgeous landscaping and a rushing waterfall.

    You'll have the entire property to yourself and each rental includes both structures. Please respect our no-smoking policy inside and enjoy your stay at this unforgettable retreat!

We really enjoyed our stay. The caboose was very inviting for the small space and the bathhouse was excellent as well. The porch was great for sitting and relaxing.

The caboose and adjoining bath house were fabulous! All the little extras made for such a fantastic stay. The hosts thought of so many things to make the stay exceptional. Umbrellas, lanterns, snacks, mini fridge, the waterfall, the heater on the porch, the fire pit, the grill, the bathrobes and so many other little touches. Very welcoming!

This was our third stay at the caboose, and we enjoyed every single minute. We love the property and spent our entire stay relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery and the accommodations. The owner is incredibly responsive, and friendly. The property was very clean, and we loved all the thoughtful details. We will be back!! Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Amazing couple’s retreat!

My husband and I stayed at Station 451 to celebrate our 15th anniversary and had the most amazing time reconnecting with each other and with nature. The place was immaculately clean, adorably decorated and very cozy and romantic. We loved the outdoor shower, the waterfall, the covered porch living space to drink coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evenings. Brooke thought of everything we would need to make our trip special. We truly enjoyed every moment at the caboose!
