Our stay here was perfect for the weekend! The views were gorgeous and we felt safe comfortable. The hot tub was awesome, my only critique is that the chlorine was so strong with the jets on that we couldn’t use them at all. Regardless, we had a great time.

This is one of the rare VRBO listings for which the actual house and property are better than the photos (no offense to the photographer)! Great spot for outdoor fun. Kids and dog loved the huge yard and stream. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at this lovely home for my wife's birthday weekend. It was exactly what we were hoping for. Quiet, relaxing, gorgeous views/property.. the trees lining the yard were just starting to bloom, sunrise in a hot tub with coffee is phenomenal.

Family Reunion

The property was accurately listed. It would be great for a big group with two levels for sleeping and living rooms. Beautiful views from the covered deck. Walks beside the creek were peaceful.

Beautiful location

The property is perfectly located not far from town, and still gives you the feel of being out in the country. The home was comfortable, and my husband and I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere! The hosts were so fast to communicate if we needed anything, and they made the check in process super easy!

Beautiful spot 20 minutes from asheville

The hot tub was incredible over looking the trees. You could hear the sounds of the creek out back and it was only 20 minutes from Asheville.

all amenities you could want!!

a little of an Older place but clean and nicely appointed... 4 separate bedrooms. on 2 levels... nice deck, grill, fire-pit, hot tub... everything you could want in a mountain retreat.. excellent communication with owner also!! will stay here aging when I am in the area..

Perfect weekend getaway spot

Catherine and christian were such great hosts! We loved how private and scenic the property was. The back deck has tons of space for outdoor fun and the house was perfect for our group. Very clean and comfortable. Only 15 minutes from the downtown attractions! Highly recommend :)

Engagement Getaway

This place was the perfect getaway for me to propose to the love of my life. (She said yes lol) The views were spectacular, the hot tub was perfect, and the house was super cozy! Weaverville was super close, and full of things to do. The hosts were very responsive, and helpful! We will definitely stay here again! We will never forget it!

Conveniently located

We visited the shops at Biltmore Village, went to eat in Weaverville, and went skiing at Wolf Ridge Ski Resort. Everything was just a short drive distance away. The house was big enough for my family. We especially loved the large dining table that accommodated our family for Christmas.

Perfect mountain oasis

We rented this home while visiting Biltmore. We wanted something close but still quiet and peaceful. This was the PERFECT spot!!! 5 stars on all accounts! We made family memories that we will cherish forever! The swing over the stream had even the oldest adult laughing like a little kid and the hot tub was the perfect ending to a long day of walking. We will be renting this home again!

Mountain retreat

Catherine’s house was the perfect location for a getaway. Not far from grocery stores, only a 15-20 drive to downtown Asheville, and a short drive to the cute town of Weaverville. The bedrooms were fully stocked with blankets, towels and sheets. And the kitchen had all the things we needed to make dinner. The back porch is the perfect location for great views, and morning coffee drinking!!! Highly recommend!

Nice view, fast communication with owner

Everything was nice, i might would suggest replacing the rugs, especially in downstairs, there was an unpleasant odor and i think it was the rugs. Other than that, the property was very inviting.

Beautiful mountain view

We loved our stay with the gorgeous view of the mountains. It was a nice and peaceful place to relax after we visited the Biltmore Estate. Although everything was clean, the downstairs did have a musty smell and some of the furnishings were dated but it didn’t bother us because cleanliness is more important than modern furnishings. The only real downfall was the water pressure. You couldn’t run more than one source at a time.
