🚗 Park next to the Airstream on the far end, furthest from the street. Maximum 2 vehicles due to fire lane safety rules. Do not block the driveway entrance or the front area; the neighbor has an easement and needs that space clear.

Located in the heart of Welches, this peaceful forested area puts you minutes from Mt. Hood’s best offerings—whether you’re heading to Timberline for skiing, Salmon River for hiking, or the local market for a bottle of wine. Despite the secluded feel, you’re just a short drive from restaurants, shops, and outdoor outfitters.



Enjoy the charm of small-town Oregon with the adventure of Mt. Hood in your backyard.



Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — This mountain retreat is nestled in the Mt. Hood area, surrounded by nature. While not a walkable urban setting, the peaceful surroundings and outdoor recreation more than make up for it.



🚗 Driving — A car is recommended for getting around. The area is well connected via US-26. Free parking at the property.



🏔️ Recreation — Minutes from Mt. Hood ski resorts, hiking trails, and the Sandy River. The charming town of Sandy is a short drive for groceries, dining, and supplies.



✈️ Airport — PDX is approximately 60–75 minutes by car via US-26 West.



Other Things to Note:

• Yard is not fenced — please supervise pets or children

• This listing includes the ADU, detached suite, and Airstream lounge; ask about booking the adjacent log cabin for groups up to 14

• DISCLAIMER: This home is not for parties. Strict 6-guest max and 2-vehicle limit due to fire lane safety rules

• This property is special to our family—please treat it like your own

• The layout here is unique --- the main ADU houses the living room, dining room, a full bathroom and upstairs is the private King bedroom. The "detached" 2nd bedroom has its own door less than 10' away from the ADU front door - inside is a Queen bed and a private bathroom with full size walk-in shower & laundry machines. The Airstream is parked in front of these areas, on the property, along with the hot tub area. The Airstream can sleep 2 comfortably with a basic kitchenette and lockable door.

We welcome pets! Our cleaning team deep cleans between every stay, though we can't guarantee 100% dander-free for allergy-sensitive guests

10 PM - 7 AM (building + city ordinance)



🚭 Non-Smoking

Smoking prohibited indoors. Outdoor smoking permitted 10+ ft from the building



❄️ Airstream Heat Note

The Airstream propane furnace can be temperamental and may show an E7/no-heat error, especially after running. If that happens, or if the propane seems empty, please message us so maintenance can help.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
