“Ian’s cabin was an excellent place to stay near Mount Hood! The cabin was a perfect and peaceful place with everything we needed. Ian also had several recommendations for hikes and restaurants in his guest book that were perfect to go check out. Highly recommend but will note for those that may not notice in the listing there is no WiFi and very little to no cell signal. ”

“We had a great time staying in this historic cabin. Check-in instructions were very clear and we had no problems. We did contact Brad about arrival time and he was very responsive. As advertised, the cabin is rustic. But the shower had lots of pressure and hot water! There were plenty of electric outlets. “Our stay in government camp was great at this cabin! Very close to mount hood hikes and activities as well as only an hourish drive from portland! Blane was very responsive to our questions and the cabin was well kept and perfect for the 2 of us staying. The bed was exceptionally comfy. Also, the surrounding town is very cute with several options of places to eat and a general store that had everything you could need!”

“This was the perfect home base for several days while hiking in the Mt Hood National Forest. This area is incredible and beautiful! The cabin was perfect in every way. Very clean, spacious, warm and cozy. We really enjoyed the outside fire pit in the evenings in early July, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Communication with Sal was always prompt and pleasant and if was a joy to work with you and stay at your lovely place. We hope to return some day!”
