“I had a quick check in and was given a great room which was quiet. The staff were great and really made an effort to look after us over Christmas ”

“I booked and paid for 3 nights this week. Before arriving, I called the landline at about 11:45 no answer. On arrival just before the 3 pm check-in time the place was shut, doors locked and curtains drawn. Called the mobile number several times and messaged the mobile to inform the person I was waiting to check in. At about 15:30 I had to check into ANOTHER hotel as I had meetings in Corbridge at 16:15. On returning to Hexham I noted the pub was open and I spoke to the manager about the issues I...

“Great little pub and the owners are fantastic. I loved it”

“No acepten upgrades ni elijan la habitación 4 del interior del castillo, tampoco les recomendaría que se alojarán ,ya que mi experiencia en el no resultó positiva, luego me contestarán con algúna respuesta tipo, pero les aseguro que hay muchos castillos en Inglaterra mejores que este.”

“Big car parking area, Sunday roasts good. Easy check in and private entrance for guests.”

“Check in was easy and efficient. The room was all that could be expected, plus a few extras. The bathroom was well appointed, with shampoo, soap etc in pump pots. The bed itself was supremely comfortable with more than sufficient coverings. A large fan completed the array of convenience items, really handy with recent weather...

“I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality and spaciousness of my room (10). Staff were friendly and professional; the assistant at breakfast was first rate in supporting a substantial number of guests. And the Craster kippers were excellent. The one thing missing at breakfast was a bowl of fresh fruit. Dinner was well prepared and presented. All in all a very good experience at the Duke of W.”
