“The host was super friendly and responsive. She even made fresh dog treats for our buddy! The only reason this stay was not a 5 was TOTALLY MY FAULT and had nothing to do with the owners or property. Unfortunately I did not research which trails and activities in the area were dog friendly and i did not ask about the entry to the home. Our dog is old and struggled going up and down the outdoor stairs. Knowing he struggles at times i should have been more proactive in my research and questions....

“Perfect space for the two of us and our dogs. Loved the balcony for star-gazing and watching the sun rise I er the mountains. Felt very comfortable leaving the pups in their crates so we could go to non-dog friendly spaces - was nice to have the main house on the property and know their were people close by! “Nice cabin nestled in the woods. Spacious and warm. Last minute booking to be close to Jay Peak. A tree fell across the driveway the morning of departure and Danny, the host, moved it quickly with his tractor. Rosie the dog was a nice surprise visitor as well.”

“This is a lovely lakeside motel with everything you might want for a lovely northeastern Vermont vacation. It is essentially located to literally everything. You can rent kayaks, you can jump in the lake and take a swim, you can bring your own recreational toys, it is great.”

“We had a great stay and everything was as described. Since it was a ski weekend we did not make use of the outdoor features other than to walk the dog. Nice sunrise over the lake in the morning!”
