“We were looking for a large comfortable house for a family holiday on orcas Island. The house easily accommodated five adults and three very active children, who loved exploring the area. The kitchens (up and down!) were well equipped with everything we could have needed, and the outside grill worked great. ”

Plenty of extra linens, paper products, basic toiletries, etc that are not always provided but that make vacation so much more stress free. John made the entire process, from check-in throughout our entire stay, so seamless, and he made it clear that he was available day or night for any issues that might arise. “This was our second stay at Appel Haus, and while it was difficult to imagine having an even better time this visit than our last one. . . we absolutely did! The location is magical, the accommodations high end, and the kitchen was large and well-appointed so we could make some wonderful family meals together.
