“Pros - great location, near pub and nice coffee shop. Short walk to beach. Cons - not very clean on arrival, mould problem in bathroom, strong damp smell throughout property. Had planned to cook but found mould growing on wooden spoons and cobwebs on the pans - so ate out instead! Having read through the comments in the visitor book we could see these issues had been raised several times, so it’s disappointing they haven’t been addressed. Would not stay again.”

“The house was fabulous, well equipped and in a fantastic location. Swimming pool and games room were a big hit with everyone. Easy access to neighbouring towns and shopping facilities. Easy access to a great beach.”

The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! “Caravan was very clean and had a lovely homey feel to it. Everything you need for a break, making for a very comfortable stay. The site itself is nice, great play park for younger kids We didn't purchase the passes for swimming or the arcades/entertainment, but any onsite staff we met were very helpful and friendly.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at York Street. This was a return visit as the house is perfectly located for Shepherds Marina. The house is spotless and has a lovely garden/ outdoor seating. With 2 good sized clean and modern bathrooms and 3 bedrooms plus sofa bed in living room makes it perfect for a crew of 6-8. The Island Holiday Company made booking and check-in very easy. We’ll be back next year!”
