Property location was nice and overall pleasing. It is more set up for winter use, as many windows do not open, AC did not work, and even if it had, the single, split system unit would not have sufficiently cooled the home, as evidenced by the many fans in the closets throughout the property. Communication with vacasa, the management company was bad, with an obvious ai bot transferring concerns to a local maintenance person who was not reliable to answer questions or concerns regarding the issues with the temperature in the property (we stayed in August). Inspecting the AC unit myself, it was very dusty, with no power, so I suspect it never really runs. They told us 2 full weeks before we arrived it was broken, which, of course, meant we would lose half our fee if we cancelled. They did not respond to our request for some type of financial compensation for the lack of AC inconvenience. Overall, pretty disappointed with how it was promoted and NOT handled. Would not rent again, nor would I recommend to anyone looking for a summer vacation rental.
