“Beautiful guest house …very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. ”

“The only thing missing were usb chargers on the sockets. Arriving from Australia having no chargers this would be a great addition. ”

“The ladies on the reception were wonderful. Pleasant, courteous, funny and kind. Yeah the ablutions were wicked clean, the room was exactly what i needed. Wi-Fi is good. But those two birds on the front desk. They need a bonus! Well done guys A*”

“i stayed here with my cousin to see the poppies on the pier and the fireworks.The room was really good clean and quiet being away from the noisy part of Southend but still on seafront and just 20mins walk was good for us.The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful we spent the eve in the bar and we will def stay there again.A really lovely great little hotel.”

“I booked late in the day but staff were very welcoming on check in. Clean, warm and comfy room. Great pub attached and Excellent breakfast. Location is ideal right at the top of a busy high street but noise wasn't an issue during the stay.”

“I’ve stayed here several times now when in Chelmsford for work. Lovely place, nice staff, rooms are fab and reasonably priced. A short drive to a park and ride into Chelmsford so perfect for me! Will definitely stay again and recommend!”

“Omg the whole experience here was fabulous, Summer and Ebony the 2 female staff were wonderful. Summer would go above and beyond and nothing was too much for her. She had a wonderful sweet funny aura about that was so refreshing. Later we met Kieran the manager he was wonderful so helpful and very funny even though he was unwell with flue nothing was to much. Such a wonderful place to stay, very clean and the food was amazing too. Dog friendly and loads of treats a for the dog available and...
