“Great property - very clean, hosts are very responsive. Only criticism is the noisy in room air conditioners.”

“Cute little place in a convenient location for a fair price.”

“Suits the needs of people for a Lake Geneva weekend.”

“This is a very nice location away from the normal heavy traffic in Lake Geneva. Megan was very responsive to any questions we had and provided some great suggestions for restaurants that addressed some dietary restrictions. There are a couple of nice places to eat close to the property and it is an easy drive to any of the activities nearby.”

“The basecamp was a charming old house in a great location to get together with a group of friends for the night. We could have slept 9 quite comfortably (doubled up on full and larger beds) and had ample space to spread out. Some seating had been added since recent reviews, which was great! There was an 8 person table that accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, and there were towels and washcloths available. The bathrooms were large, but could have been cleaner. We...

“Really nice property and convenient location to golf, Lake Geneva and surrounding towns.”

“Great house, great host!”

“I enjoyed how walkable the location is to shops, and restaurants.”

“Nice property 15-20 min away from downtown lake geneva.”

“This was a great spot for the large group we needed. The hosts were responsive and informative of the area and the property.”

“Dave was very responsive and kind. The home was clean and great to stay in for a short amount of time. There is only one shower/bath and the other bathrooms are half baths. For a group of 7 girls we made it work but if we were to stay here longer and had a bigger group we would need to find a stay with at least 2 showers. Other than that, it was a great stay!”

“Good spot for a weekend getaway! Convenient location for Lake Geneva and the surrounding towns. Host communication and response time excellent! Exactly as described. ”

“Great spot for a big group!”

“Had a great time. Beautiful house plenty of room. Owner was quick to respond and very helpful. The power was out and they brought us lights and offered us some drinks. 10/10 would definitely recommend”

“Such a great location and a cute place to stay!!!! That's we're very comfortable and plenty of space for everyone!!!”

“Modern Waters was a great place for our girls’ reunion. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is fantastic -walking distance to downtown. The host was very accommodating, professional, and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.”

“Place was immaculate. Location can’t get much better. Price seemed higher than comparable places, but we could get just 2 nights. Others had 3 night minimums. 9:00 check out was also earlier than other places. Most are at least 10:00. We had a good experience and enjoyed appetizers on the back deck. Just FYI - back outer door sticks are the bottom and is difficult to open. Door handle to bathroom fell off and it would be nice to have some coffee available. Thank you.”
